Application of new bidirectional DC/DC converter in uninterruptible power supply system
In order to solve the uninterruptible power supply in the power flow of the uneven distribution and raising and reducing capacity problems, based on the bidirectional Buck-Boost DC/DC converter on the traditional topology from begin to research, a new ...

Forward converters using a CPLD-based control technique to obtain a fast transient load response [PDF]
[[abstract]]Today, using the conventional technique to obtain the fast transient load response for the forward converter is not easy. Therefore, in order to overcome this problem, a forward converter with a complex programmable logic device (CPLD ...

Design and control of a bidirectional wireless charging system using GaN devices [PDF]
Most of the existing wireless power transfer system works in unidirectional with one-direction control signals. This paper presents a bidirectional wireless charging system with duplex communication method, which is not only able to achieve the two-way ...

Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

Forward converter regulator using controlled transformer
A new control scheme is proposed for a forward power converter regulator using a controlled transformer. Pulse width modulation (PWM) control is used to reset the control core of the controlled transformer. As a result, a low-cost ferrite core can be used for the controlled transformer to achieve good regulation and high efficiency.

Regenerative‐passive snubber two‐switch forward converter [PDF]
A regenerative‐passive snubber (RPS) for pulse‐width modulation (PWM) two‐switch forward converter (TSFC) is presented. The RPS circuit is recycled the magnetic energy stored in the transformer leakage inductor and is achieved zero voltage switching turn off of power switches.

Supermodes of grating-coupled multimode waveguides and application to mode conversion between copropagating modes mediated by backward Bragg scattering [PDF]
An analysis of multimode waveguides where several modes are coupled via quasiperiodic perturbations is presented. The supermodes (or eigenmodes) of the structure are derived and orthonormality considerations are discussed. In addition, a new type of mode

A Cre‐dependent lentiviral vector for neuron subtype‐specific expression of large proteins
We designed a versatile and modular lentivector comprising a Cre‐dependent switch and self‐cleaving 2A peptide and tested it for co‐expression of GFP and a 2.8 kb gene of interest (GOI) in mouse cortical parvalbumin (PV+) interneurons and midbrain dopamine (TH+) neurons.

High performance single stage power factor correction circuit
Here, a new single stage single switch soft switching PFC (power factor correction) converter is presented and analysed. The proposed converter combines buck AC‐DC converter and forward DC‐DC converter and applies an auxiliary circuit to eliminate input ...
