Forward-looking Multi-channel Synthetic Aperture Radar Imaging and Array Attitude Error Compensation

open access: yesLeida xuebao, 2023
To solve the problem of left-right Doppler ambiguity in forward-looking Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imaging, Forward-Looking Multi-Channel SAR (FLMC-SAR) can achieve Doppler ambiguity resolving imaging through beamforming.

Experimental Comparison of Carrier Phase Recovery Algorithms for Uniform and Probabilistically Shaped QAM in a 324.1 Gb/S Fiber-mm-Wave Integration System at W-Band

open access: yesPhotonics, 2023
We have experimentally implemented a photonics-aided large-capacity fiber-mm-wave wireless communication system employing a simple dual-polarized single-input single-output (SISO) wireless based on polarization multiplexing at the W-band.

A note on the push-forward formulas for even orthogonal Grassmannians [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2023
We revisit residue formulas for the push-forward in the cohomology of the even orthogonal Grassmannian. This space has two components, and the formula for a single component demands separate attention. We correct errors spread throughout the literature.

Geometrical Error Identification and Compensation for Grinding Machine by Crankshaft Roundness Measuring

open access: yesChemical Engineering Transactions, 2015
Tangential point tracing grinding method has many advantages in the precise machining for eccentric parts such as crankshaft pin grinding. But its machining accuracy is based on a very precise geometrical model, which means the geometrical error of the ...

A nonlinear data-driven approach to bias correction of XCO2 for NASA's OCO-2 ACOS version 10 [PDF]

open access: yesAtmospheric Measurement Techniques, 2023
Measurements of column-averaged dry air mole fraction of CO2 (termed XCO2) from the Orbiting Carbon Observatory-2 (OCO-2) contain systematic errors and regional-scale biases, often induced by forward model error or nonlinearity in the retrieval ...

Localizing Router Configuration Errors Using Minimal Correction Sets [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2022
Router configuration errors are unfortunately common and difficult to localize using current network verifiers. We introduce a novel configuration error localizer (CEL) that precisely identifies which configuration segments contribute to the violation of forwarding requirements.

Improved DC-Free Run-Length Limited 4B6B Codes for Concatenated Schemes

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2022
In this letter, we introduce a class of improved DC-free 4B6B codes in terms of error correction capabilities for a serially concatenated architecture. There are billions of different codebooks that can be derived from the 16 codewords contained in the ...

Concatenated Forward Error Correction with KP4 and Single Parity Check Codes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2022
Concatenated forward error correction is studied using an outer KP4 Reed-Solomon code with hard-decision decoding and inner single parity check (SPC) codes with Chase/Wagner soft-decision decoding. Analytical expressions are derived for the end-to-end frame and bit error rates for transmission over additive white Gaussian noise channels with binary ...

NNLL corrections to the angular distribution and to the forward-backward asymmetries in b -> X_s l+ l- [PDF]

open access: yesPhys.Rev.D66:094013,2002, 2002
We present NNLL results for the double differential decay width dGamma(b -> X_s l+ l-)/(dsh dcos(theta)), where theta is the angle between the momenta of the b-quark and the l+, measured in the rest-frame of the lepton pair. From these results we also derive NNLL results for the lepton forward-backward asymmetries.

Inverse Solution Error Analysis and Correction of Beam Steering System Based on Risley Prisms

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2022
The pointing accuracy of the Risley prisms beam-steering system mainly depends on the accuracy of the solution method and the impact of the error on the solution.
