Relatıonshıps Between Aırway Adequacy And Vertıcal Cranıofacıal Confıguratıon In Subjects Wıth Dıfferent Cervıcal Postures

open access: yesTurkish Journal of Orthodontics, 1993
Natural head posture cephalograms of 99 subjects (54 females, 45 males) in the age range of 19–29 years were used to examine the associations between airway adequacy and vertical craniofacial configuration, in three groups comprising subjects with ...

Biomechanical Variances in the Development of Forward Head Posture

open access: yesPhysical Therapy Korea
Forward Head Posture (FHP) involves the anterior positioning of the head relative to the shoul-ders, often associated with muscular imbalances. It is known that individuals with FHP expe-rience shortening of craniocervical extensors and cervical flexors.

RPLP2 Mediates the Beneficial Effects of Exercise on Stress Resistance Through Muscle–Brain Communication

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel exercise‐inducible myokine acidic ribosomal protein P2 (RPLP2), initially identified from human trials, is presented here, whose circulating levels negatively correlate with clinical anxiety severity. Muscle‐derived RPLP2 enhances hippocampal ribosomal assembly and adult neurogenesis to rescue stress‐induced anxiety deficits.

Strategy of Triple‐Gradient in Binary Pixels for Flexible Pressure Sensing with High Sensitivity and Wide‐Range Linearity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A flexible pressure sensor with triple‐gradient design of conductivity, modulus, and dimension in binary micro‐dome pixels is proposed. Based on precisely‐designed CNT/PDMS matrix, the device exhibits a linear sensitivity of 974.1 kPa−1 across range up to 1.8 MPa (R2 > 0.99), offering an effective strategy for potential applications in healthcare ...
