Privacy-Preserving HMM Forward Computation

Proceedings of the Seventh ACM on Conference on Data and Application Security and Privacy, 2017
In many areas such as bioinformatics, pattern recognition, and signal processing, Hidden Markov Models (HMMs) have become an indispensable statistical tool. A fundamental building block for these applications is the Forward algorithm which computes the likelihood to observe a given sequence of emissions for a given HMM.

Dynamic Searchable Symmetric Encryption with Full Forward Privacy

2020 IEEE 5th International Conference on Signal and Image Processing (ICSIP), 2020
Many approaches address the problem of Searchable Symmetric Encryption (SSE), and in the last few years scholars introduced Dynamic SSE (DSSE) schemes in which a client is able to add, delete, and update documents along with performing searches over encrypted documents.

An improved forward secure RFID privacy protection scheme

2010 2nd International Asia Conference on Informatics in Control, Automation and Robotics (CAR 2010), 2010
Lightweight authentication protocols are necessary in the RFID system because tags are lack of computational resources and communication ability. Many researchers have proposed some authentication protocols which only use lightweight operations, such as XOR, hash operation and so on. In this paper, we analyze some authentication protocols.
