$\text{E}^{3}$ MC: Improving Energy Efficiency via Elastic Multi-Controller SDN in Data Center Networks

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2016
Energy consumed by network constitutes a significant portion of the total power budget in modern data centers. Thus, it is critical to understand the energy consumption and improve the power efficiency of data center networks (DCNs).

DEVELOPMENT OF LOAD BALANCING MECHANISMS IN SDN DATA PLANE FAT TREE USING MODIFIED DIJKSTRA’S ALGORITHM

open access: yesJUTI: Jurnal Ilmiah Teknologi Informasi, 2020
SDN is a computer network approach that allows network administrators to manage network services through the abstraction of functionality at a higher level, by separating systems that make decisions about where traffic is sent (control plane), then ...

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

SDN Access Control for the Masses

open access: yes, 2018
The evolution of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) has so far been predominantly geared towards defining and refining the abstractions on the forwarding and control planes. However, despite a maturing south-bound interface and a range of proposed network

Adaptaquin is selectively toxic to glioma stem cells through disruption of iron and cholesterol metabolism

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Adaptaquin selectively kills glioma stem cells while sparing differentiated brain cells. Transcriptomic and proteomic analyses show Adaptaquin disrupts iron and cholesterol homeostasis, with iron chelation amplifying cytotoxicity via cholesterol depletion, mitochondrial dysfunction, and elevated reactive oxygen species.

Intein‐based modular chimeric antigen receptor platform for specific CD19/CD20 co‐targeting

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CARtein is a modular CAR platform that uses split inteins to splice antigen‐recognition modules onto a universal signaling backbone, enabling precise, scarless assembly without re‐engineering signaling domains. Deployed here against CD19 and CD20 in B‐cell malignancies, the design supports flexible multi‐antigen targeting to boost T‐cell activation and

Software Defined Network-Based Multi-Access Edge Framework for Vehicular Networks

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Vehicular networks aim to support cooperative warning applications that involve the dissemination of warning messages to reach vehicles in a target area. Due to the high mobility of vehicles, imperative technologies such as software-defined network (SDN)

Molecular characterisation of human penile carcinoma and generation of paired epithelial primary cell lines

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Generation of two normal and tumour (cancerous) paired human cell lines using an established tissue culture technique and their characterisation is described. Cell lines were characterised at cellular, protein, chromosome and gene expression levels and for HPV status.

Edge-ICN and its application to the Internet of Things

open access: yes, 2017
While research on Information-Centric Networking (ICN) flourishes, its adoption seems to be an elusive goal. In this paper we propose Edge-ICN: a novel approach for deploying ICN in a single large network, such as the network of an Internet Service ...
