By integrating single‐cell RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics, tenascin C (TNC) is unveiled as a central organizer of the proinflammatory and profibrotic niche in kidney fibrosis. TNC promotes macrophage activation through TLR4/NF‐κB signaling, leading to renal inflammation and fibrosis.

Morphine activates the excitatory cingulate cortex–intermediate rostrocaudal division of zona incerta (Cg‐ZIm) pathway to drive hyperlocomotion in mice. Inhibiting the Cg‐ZIm pathway attenuates both acute and chronic morphine‐induced hyperlocomotion, while its activation mimics morphine's motor effects.

This study establishes pharmacological microglial inhibition as a therapeutic strategy, demonstrating its capacity to remodel the lesion microenvironment through significant reduction of extracellular matrix deposition. This permissive environmental transformation facilitates robust regeneration of the reticulospinal tract, and reconstructs functional ...

MED27 is one of the 26 subunits in the human Mediator complex (MED). Neurodevelopmental disorder‐causing MED27 genetic variants induce instability of MED, leading to disrupted DNA occupancy, altered chromatin interaction, and subsequent transcriptional dysregulation of critical downstream genes, including master regulatory transcription factors ...

CIDEC Restricts Liver Regeneration by Disturbing Lipid Droplet Triglyceride Turnover
This study identifies CIDEC, an lipid droplet (LD)‐fusion associated protein upregulated by CREBH during early regeneration, as a negative regulator of liver regeneration through its unexpected role in sequestering triglyceride (TG) within LDs. CIDEC depletion reduces LD size, mobilizes LD‐stored TG, enhances TG catabolism and free fatty acid (FFA ...

Multi‐modality imaging strategy applied to PRV‐induced central nervous system infection enables dynamic visualization of cerebrovascular dysfunction, including hyperemia, hypoperfusion, and vascular remodeling. These changes are linked to microglial activation and impaired angiogenesis, providing mechanistic insight into PRV neuropathogenesis and ...

GABAergic neurons in the dorsomedial hypothalamus (DMHGABA neurons) act as a key neuronal population controlling cold exposure‐induced white adipose tissue browning. DMHGABA neurons regulate the browning through DMH to the lateral preoptic area (LPO) projection.

Schizophrenia (SCZ) is linked to synaptic structural deficits driven by dysregulated noncoding RNAs. Using the novel ceRNAxis pipeline, THUMPD3‐AS1/miR‐485‐5p/ARHGAP8 is identified as a key regulator of actin cytoskeletal remodeling through noncanonical RhoB/C‐ROCK2 signaling. Modulating this axis ameliorates SCZ‐like phenotypes in mice and aligns with
