Galactose-Functionalized Gold Nanoparticles Targeting Membrane Transporters for the Glutathione Delivery to Brain Cancer Cells. [PDF]
Glutathione‐functionalized gold nanoparticles are shown to reduce radicals in SH‐SY5Y and C6 cells. Conjugation of galactose to the outer shell improves internalization through the GLUT transporter, thus providing a smart multivalent system able to reduce oxidative stress in neuroblastoma and rat glioma cells.

Visible short-pulses generation by nonlinear propagation of necklace beams in capillaries [PDF]
We study numerically the propagation of necklace beams through a gas-filled capillary. Ultra-short pulses in the visible (VIS) region can be obtained due to the spectral broadening of these necklace beams.

Weber number and the outcome of binary collisions between quantum droplets
A theoretical analysis of binary collisions of quantum droplets under feasible experimental conditions is reported. Droplets formed from degenerate dilute Bose gases made up from binary mixtures of ultracold atoms are considered. Reliable expressions for

Colorimetry-based System for Gaseous Carbon Dioxide Detection
The study of sensing materials to the detection of carbon dioxide (CO2) was achieved using p-nitrophenol (pNPh) as a colorimetric indicator. The sensing material was polymerized (NPLn), functionalized with 3-triethoxysilyl propyl isocyanate (IPTES) which

Repurposing Metal-Based Therapeutics for Human Metapneumovirus (HMPV): An Integrative Computational Approach. [PDF]
Human metapneumovirus (HMPV) is a respiratory pathogen of global concern, particularly affecting infants, the elderly, and immunocompromised individuals. Despite its prevalence, no targeted antiviral therapies are currently approved. In this study, we employed a structure‐guided computational strategy to repurpose clinically approved metal‐based drugs ...
