Reduction of energy losses through the integration of photovoltaic power plants in distribution networks

This paper presents a novel method to locate and size photovoltaic (PV) power plants in distribution networks. The method uses two objective functions and one of them uses a fixed voltage profile that allows reducing the execution times of the algorithm. This method turned out to be efficient when compared with other optimization algorithms.
