Intermolecular Interactions as Driving Force of Increasing Multiphoton Absorption in a Perylene Diimide‐Based Coordination Polymer

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study uncovers the unexplored role of intermolecular interactions in multiphoton absorption in coordination polymers. By analyzing [Zn2tpda(DMA)2(DMF)0.3], it shows how the electronic coupling of the chromophores and confinement in the MOF enhance two‐and three‐photon absorption.

Forward/Backward Decomposition for Dispersive Wave Propagation Measurements

open access: yesApplied Sciences
Two complicating features commonly found in wave propagation applications include dispersion, i.e., frequency-dependent propagation velocity, and reflections, which introduce coherent noise.

Temporal modification in cardiac rhythmicity of Nephrops norvegicus (Crustacea: Decapoda) in relation to trawl capture stress

open access: yesScientia Marina, 2005
The effects of trawling on cardiac rhythmicity of Nephrops norvegicus (L.) are still mostly unknown. Ultradian rhythms reported in previous studies may result from trawling capture stress, thus disappearing following acclimatisation to laboratory ...

Imaging of Lipid Droplets in Living Cells and Mice with Metabolic Dysfunction‐Associated Steatotic Liver Disease via a Galactose‐Modified Supramolecular Near‐Infrared Fluorescent Glycoprobe

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A galactose‐modified supramolecular near‐infrared (NIR) glycoprobe, TCF‐FBN@Gal‐BSA, enables targeted delivery to the liver through the asialoglycoprotein receptor (ASGPR) and facilitates liver‐targeting fluorescence visualization of lipid droplets (LDs) in metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) mice.

Modeling of vibration for functionally graded beams

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2016
In this study, a vibration problem of Euler-Bernoulli beam manufactured with Functionally Graded Material (FGM), which is modelled by fourth-order partial differential equations with variable coefficients, is examined by using the Adomian Decomposition ...

SAR village targets extraction and heterogonous image registration

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, 2019
Since the signal-to-noise ratio of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image is low, it is difficult to match SAR images with optical images accurately. A new method of SAR village targets extraction and heterogonous image registration is proposed in this ...

Flight techniques for the measurement of stability derivatives and aircraft response

open access: yes, 1965
A method of obtaining aircraft frequency-response from transient response data by Fourier analysis is currently being investigated. This report describes progress that has been made between the commencement of the contract (1st December, 1964) and ...
