Modulating Two‐Photon Absorption in a Pyrene‐Based MOF Series: An In‐Depth Investigation of Structure–Property Relationships

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study investigates H4TBAPy‐based metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) ‐ NU‐1000, NU‐901, SrTBAPy, and BaTBAPy ‐ for multiphoton absorption (MPA) performance. It observes topology‐dependent variations in the 2PA cross‐section, with BaTBAPy exhibiting the highest activity.

Multilinear analysis for discrete and periodic pseudo-differential operators in Lp-spaces

open access: yesRevista Integración, 2018
In this note we announce our investigation on the Lp properties for periodic and discrete multilinear pseudo-differential operators. First, we review the periodic analysis of multilinear pseudo-differential operators by showing classical multilinear ...

Keterbatasan Operator Integral Fraksional di Ruang Morrey tak Homogen yang Diperumum [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009

Combinatorial Synthesis of Next Generation Water‐Soluble Quaternized N‐Halamine Oligomers with Long‐Lasting Antiviral Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A combinatorial library of dual‐functional antiviral oligomers incorporating N‐halamine and quaternary ammonium functionalities is developed for long‐lasting antiviral activity. The lead materials exhibit rapid and durable antiviral activity against SARS‐CoV‐2 variants and influenza H1N1, with 4 to 5 log reduction in viral copies at 5 mg mL−1 ...

Schatten class Fourier integral operators

open access: yesApplied and Computational Harmonic Analysis, 2011
Fourier integral operators with sufficiently smooth phase act on the time-frequency content of functions. However time-frequency analysis has only recently been used to analyze these operators. In this paper, we show that if a Fourier integral operator has a smooth phase function and its symbol is well-localized in time and frequency, then the operator

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

On Fourier integral operators with Hölder-continuous phase [PDF]

open access: yesAnalysis and Applications, 2018
We study continuity properties in Lebesgue spaces for a class of Fourier integral operators arising in the study of the Boltzmann equation. The phase has a Hölder-type singularity at the origin. We prove boundedness in [Formula: see text] with a precise loss of decay depending on the Hölder exponent, and we show by counterexamples that a loss occurs ...

Near‐Infrared Emitting Lanthanide Catecholate Giant Single Crystals – Morphology Control and Photon Down‐Conversion

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Controlled syntheses of lanthanide coordination polymers based on the dihydroxybenzoquinone (DHBQ) organic linker afforded large single crystals of Ln‐DHBQ CPs (Ln = Yb, Nd). A novel structural variant of Yb‐DHBQ is identified by means of single crystal diffraction analysis.

Fast‐Responding O2 Gas Sensor Based on Luminescent Europium Metal‐Organic Frameworks (MOF‐76)

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Luminescent MOF‐76 materials based on Eu(III) and mixed Eu(III)/Y(III) show rapid and reversible changes in emission intensity in response to O2 with very short response times. The effect is based on triplet quenching of the linker ligands that act as photosensitizers. Average emission lifetimes of a few milliseconds turn out to be mostly unaffected by

Fourier series approximation for the Cauchy singular integral equation

open access: yesJournal of Numerical Analysis and Approximation Theory, 2018
Using the Fourier series as a projection in the Galerkin method, we approach the solution of the Cauchy singular integral equation. This study is carried in \(L^2\). Numerical examples are developped to show the effectiveness of this method.
