An elliptic boundary value problem for G2-structures [PDF]
We show that the G2 holonomy equation on a manifold with boundary, with prescribed 3-form on the boundary, is elliptic. The main point is to set up a suitable linear elliptic boundary value problem. This result leads to a deformation theory.

The study of a mixed problem for one class of third order differential equations
This work is dedicated to the study of existence and uniqueness of almost everywhere solution of a multidimensional mixed problem for one class of third order differential equations with nonlinear operator on the right-hand side. The conception of almost

A solvability conditions of mixed problems for equations of parabolic type with involution
In this work the partial differential equations with involutions are considered. The mixed problems for the parabolic type equation, with constant and variable constants, corresponding to the Dirichlet type boundary conditions is investigated.

Receding contact problem for a coated layer and a half-plane loaded by a rigid cylindrical stamp
In this study, the frictionless contact problem between a coated layer and a half-plane is considered when they are pressed by a rigid cylindrical stamp.

Modified Fourier expansions: theory, construction and applications
Modified Fourier expansions present an alternative to more standard algorithms for the approximation of nonperiodic functions in bounded domains. This thesis addresses the theory of such expansions, their effective construction and computation, and ...

Plane wave diffraction by a finite plate with impedance boundary conditions. [PDF]
In this study we have examined a plane wave diffraction problem by a finite plate having different impedance boundaries. The Fourier transforms were used to reduce the governing problem into simultaneous Wiener-Hopf equations which are then solved using ...

Image Feature Extraction Using 2D Mel-Cepstrum [PDF]
In this paper, a feature extraction method based on two-dimensional (2D) mel-cepstrum is introduced. Feature matrices resulting from the 2D mel-cepstrum, Fourier LDA approach and original image matrices are individually applied to the Common Matrix ...

Lamb's plane problem in a thermo-elastic micropolar medium with stretch
A study is made of the Lamb plane problem in a thermo-elastic micropolar medium with the effect of stretch. The problem is solved for an arbitrary, normal load distribution by using the double Fourier transform. The displacement components, force stress,
