The Dirichlet problem for a three-dimensional equation of mixed type with three singular coefficients

open access: yesVestnik Samarskogo Gosudarstvennogo Tehničeskogo Universiteta. Seriâ: Fiziko-Matematičeskie Nauki, 2017
We study the Dirichlet problem in a parallelepiped for a three-dimensional equation of mixed type with three singular coefficients. Separation of variables with Fourier series and spectral analysis are used to investigate this problem.

Fourier Single-Pixel Imaging Based on Online Modulation Pattern Binarization

open access: yesPhotonics, 2023
Down-sampling Fourier single-pixel imaging is typically achieved by truncating the Fourier spectrum, where exclusively the low-frequency Fourier coefficients are extracted while discarding the high-frequency components.

Some Problems of Convergence of General Fourier Series

open access: yesJournal of Contemporary Mathematical Analysis (Armenian Academy of Sciences), 2022
S. Banach [1] proved that good differential properties of function do not guarantee the a.e. convergence of the Fourier series of this function with respect to general orthonormal systems (ONS). On the other hand it is very well known that a sufficient condition for the a.e.

Graded‐Interface Dual‐Environment Hydrogel‐Polymer Electrolyte for Stabilized Anode and Sustained Cathode Kinetics in Aqueous Zinc‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A graded‐interface hydrogel‐polymer electrolyte decouples water activity to simultaneously stabilize the Zn anode and sustain cathode kinetics. The flexible design supports dendrite‐free cycling over 1600 h, high capacity in both MnO2 and V2O5 full cells, and stable pouch‐cell performance under bending, resolving the fundamental water conflict in ...

A Step Forward to Formalize Tailored to Problem Specificity Mathematical Transforms

open access: yesFrontiers in Applied Mathematics and Statistics, 2022
Linear functional analysis historically founded by Fourier and Legendre played a significant role to provide a unified vision of mathematical transformations between vector spaces.

Resolving the Cu(bdc) Conundrum: Identifying Non‐Porous Packing of Prototypical Coordination‐Network Thin Films Combining Advanced Diffraction Techniques and Computational Modelling

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Solution‐processed Cu(bdc) forms prototypical MOF thin films for which a multitude of not fully satisfactory structural models have been suggested. Combining rotating grazing‐incidence diffraction and X‐ray reflectivity on two complementary samples with density‐functional theory, we first discard the previously suggested models and then identify a non ...

A generalized Pauli problem and an infinite family of MUB-triplets in dimension 6

open access: yes, 2009
We exhibit an infinite family of triplets of mutually unbiased bases (MUBs) in dimension 6. These triplets involve the Fourier family of Hadamard matrices, F(a, b).

Growing sandpile problem with Dirichlet and Fourier boundary conditions

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2017
In this work, we study the Prigozhin model for growing sandpile with mixed boundary conditions and an arbitrary time dependent angle of repose. On one part of the boundary the homogeneous Dirichlet boundary condition is provided, on the other one the ...

Long‐Range Coordination Environment Modulates Single‐Atom Local States and Systemic Impact on CO2 Photoconversion

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Terminal groups on Cu porphyrins modulate the electronic states of single‐atom Cu centers through a long‐range electronic effect, without altering the Cu coordination geometry. Meanwhile, a multi‐descriptor framework is established that incorporates porphyrin regulation, hybrid catalyst properties, and CO2 photoreduction capabilities.
