Fourier Transform Spectroscopy of LaS in the Infrared
High Resolution Fourier Transform Spectroscopy, 1989Diatomic lanthanum sulfide, LaS, is a molecule of astrophysical interest. It is suspected as a possible contributor to the spectra of some S-type stars (Lambert and Clegg, 1980).

Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy
Photosynthesis Research, 2009Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy probes the vibrational properties of amino acids and cofactors, which are sensitive to minute structural changes. The lack of specificity of this technique, on the one hand, permits us to probe directly the vibrational properties of almost all the cofactors, amino acid side chains, and of water molecules ...

Fourier Transform Infrared Emission Spectroscopy of CS [PDF]
The high resolution spectrum of VCl has been observed in emission in the 3000–9400 cm−1 region using a Fourier transform spectrometer. The bands were excited in a high temperature carbon tube furnace from the reaction of vanadium metal vapor and a trace of BCl3 and the spectra were recorded at a resolution of 0.05 cm−1.

[12] Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy
1993Publisher Summary The very term “Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy” (FTIR) has become obsolete because there are now no research-quality non-Fourier transform (dispersive) mid-infrared spectrometers being manufactured commercially. Fundamental differences between an FTIR spectrometer and a dispersive-IR spectrometer go well beyond the mere ...

Food Additives and Contaminants Part A-chemistry Analysis Control Exposure & Risk Assessment, 2020
The increasing demand for food and the globalisation of the supply chain have resulted in a rise in food fraud, and recent high profile cases, such as the Chinese milk scandal in 2008 and the EU horsemeat scandal in 2013 have emphasised the vulnerability

Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy of Peptides
2013Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy provides data that are widely used for secondary structure characterization of peptides. A wide array of available sampling methods permits structural analysis of peptides in diverse environments such as aqueous solution (including optically turbid media), powders, detergent micelles, and lipid bilayers ...
