Oxidation Behavior and Kinetics of Light, Medium, and Heavy Crude Oils Characterized by Thermogravimetry Coupled with Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy

, 2018
The oxidation behavior of three crude oils was characterized by thermogravimetry coupled with Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (TG–FTIR) to investigate the oxidation mechanism of crude oils.

Identification of Cobalt Oxides with Raman Scattering and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy

, 2016
Although Raman spectral fingerprints of Co3O4 have been well established, the infrared spectrum of Co3O4 is less understood due to its dependence on sample morphologies and experimental configurations. The same is true for both Raman and infrared spectra

Fourier Transform Infrared Emission Spectroscopy of SeH

Journal of Molecular Spectroscopy, 2000
The infrared vibration-rotation bands of SeH have been measured in the X(2)Pi ground state using a Fourier transform spectrometer. The bands were observed in a microwave discharge of a mixture of H(2) and Se in the presence of He. The rotational structure of the 1-0, 2-1, 3-2 bands of the X(2)Pi(3/2) spin component and the 1-0 band of X(2)Pi(1/2) spin ...

Cancer grading by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy [PDF]

open access: possibleBiospectroscopy, 1998
Thirty-nine freeze-dried tissue samples from 17 lymphoid tumors (nine malignant non-Hodgkin's lymphomas) were studied by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. The absorbance ratio A1121/A1020 increased, along with the emergence of an absorbance pulse at 1121 cm-1, with increasing clinicopathological grade of malignant lymphoma.

Infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy of PH

Journal of Molecular Spectroscopy, 1987
Abstract The infrared vibration-rotation spectrum of the PH radical was observed in emission using a high-resolution Fourier transform spectrometer. The observation of five bands (1-0, 2-1, 3-2, 4-3, and 5-4) allowed the first six vibrational energy levels of the ground X 3 Σ − state to be characterized. An RKR potential curve for the ground state

Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy

2013
Abstract Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy is a rapid, economical, easy, and non-destructive technique. The IR spectrum of a clay mineral is sensitive to its chemical composition, isomorphous substitution, layer stacking order, or structural modifications.

[11] Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy of retinoids

1986
Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy of retinoids, and presents the FTIR spectra of 15 retinoids along with band positions which correlate with the retinoid structures. FTIR spectroscopy offers sufficient instrumental sensitivity, accuracy, and speed of analysis to be the method of choice.
