The n-dimensional continuous wavelet transformation on Gelfand and Shilov type spaces [PDF]
In this paper the wavelet transformationon Gelfand and Shilov spaces of type WM(⬛n), WΩ(Δn) and WMΩ(Δn) is studied. It is shown that Wψφ : WM(⬛n) → WM(⬛n×⬛+n), Wψφ : WΩ(Δn) →WΩ(Δn×⬛+n) and Wψφ : WMΩ(Δn) →WMΩ(Δn×⬛+n) is linear andcontinuous where ⬛n and ...

An Edible Chitosan‐Based Acoustic Sensor for Sound‐Responsive Actuation in Edible Robots
This study introduces an edible acoustic sensor for robotic food and edible robotics. Built from a chitosan piezoelectric film between gold electrodes, the sensor enables acoustic communication through ON/OFF keying. Integrated into an edible robot with pneumatically actuated arms and neck, it responds to high‐frequency tones.

Computing the fast Fourier transform on SIMD microprocessors [PDF]
This thesis describes how to compute the fast Fourier transform (FFT) of a power-of-two length signal on single-instruction, multiple-data (SIMD) microprocessors faster than or very close to the speed of state of the art libraries such as FFTW (“Fastest ...

Disentangling Bulk and Surface Contributions to Charge and Discharge Fading in High‐Voltage LiCoO2
High‐voltage operation of LiCoO2 accelerates capacity fading through bulk and surface degradation. By introducing a LiTaO3 coating to selectively suppress surface degradation, bulk and surface contributions to charge and discharge fading are decoupled.

Coordinated Architectural and Chemical Reinforcement in the Crushing Mandible of a Soldier Termite
The crushing mandible of a soldier termite withstands substantial biting loads despite lacking mineral. Its cuticle is partitioned: convex teeth pair hardness and zinc enrichment with aligned chitin fibers for contact durability, while stiffer concave regions between teeth carry bending loads.

Application of a modified fou rier transformation for modeling variations in the gravity field
Introduction. The analysis and processing of signals with complex structures — particularly those exhibiting frequency and phase modulation — remains a relevant challenge, especially in cases where traditional methods fail to provide sufficient accuracy.

2D Co‐Assembly of Solid Acids Enables Stable Superprotonic Conduction Above 260°C
A two‐dimensional co‐assembly strategy integrates antimony phosphate and phosphotungstic acid nanosheets into free‐standing inorganic lamellar membranes with confined acid–acid interfaces. The resulting interfacial hydrogen‐bond network enables anhydrous proton conductivity exceeding 0.1 S cm−1 at 260°C and supports stable high‐temperature fuel‐cell ...

Polarity‐matched Zr–MOFs program Nafion's nanoscale morphology during solution casting. Hydrophilic UiO‐66 preserves hydrated pathways, while hydrophobic UiO‐67 increases the proton hopping sites by densifying ionic clusters. Combining both fillers yields a membrane that delivers 176 mS cm−1 conductivity, reaches 1.46 W cm−2 under 200 kPa, and triples ...

On a property of the Fourier transform.
The paper consists of the following result. Let \(C_0(\mathbb{R})\) be the sup-norm Banach space of continuous functions vanishing at infinity. Theorem. If \(X\) is a closed reflexive subspace of \(C_0(\mathbb{R})\) consisting entirely of Fourier transforms of \(L_1(\mathbb{R})\) functions, then \(X\) is finite-dimensional.
