, 2010 A 64-year-old man with a locally advanced rectum adenocarcinoma was referred for 18-fluoro-2-deoxyglucose (F-18 FDG) imaging for the purpose of restaging and tumor response. Circumferentially increased perirectal F-18 FDG uptake was seen.
