ABSTRACT The recombination reaction of nitric oxide (NO) with radicals via its oxygen atom, rather than the more common nitrogen site, offers an intriguing pathway to the formation of oxynitrenes. The photochemical isomerization of nitroso compounds into their corresponding oxynitrenes may involve such a step.

Better Material Properties and Faster Catalyzed Chemical Recycling for Poly(L‐Lactide) Using a Simple Commercial Glycerol Ethoxylate Additive

Glycerol ethoxylate (GEO), a branched ethylene glycol derivative, both toughens commercial PLLA and accelerates its chemical recycling to L‐lactide. Caving‐enhanced geothermal system overwhelms fracturing‐ and pipe‐enhanced geothermal system in heat extraction

Our study reveals that caving‐enhanced geothermal systems (C‐EGS) with adequately fractured reservoirs achieve optimal heat extraction by minimizing preferential flow paths, while conventional fracturing (F‐EGS) and pipe‐based (P‐EGS) systems suffer accelerated thermal drawdown.
