Hydrodynamic Simulations of a 2MW Offshore Solar Farm with Floating Breakwater Protection
Following successful applications in inland water bodies, floating photovoltaics (FPV) developers are now targeting offshore sites. This advancement requires numerical tools that can quantify the hydrodynamic performance of large-scale FPV farms.

Survival Remains High in Griffon Vultures 40 Years After Reintroduction
The reintroduction of the Griffon vulture (Gyps fulvus) in French Grands Causses in 1981 is largely regarded as a significant translocation success. 40 years of quality data from intensive monitoring allows us to investigate the survival rates in this long‐lived population on the long term, but also to reflect on the crucial role of adaptive management

Development of a three‐step synthesis and replacement of the cycloheptyl moiety in cycloheptathiophene‐3‐carboxamide derivatives revealed how thiophene C‐5 substitutions modulate PA–PB1 inhibition, antiviral potency, and water solubility. The phenyl analog 9 delivered sub‐µM potency across multiple IV strains, while the methyl analog 5 achieved the ...

Ultrasound Modulation of Visual Circuits in Mice Independent of Auditory Confound
In this study, Qiu et al. found that low‐intensity ultrasound can directly activate sparse ultrasound‐sensitive neurons (UNs) in the primary visual cortex (V1) of deafened mice. The proportion of these sparse UNs is pressure‐dependent. Furthermore, ultrasound modulates visual circuitry with distinct excitatory and inhibitory effects.

Design of a Hydroelectronic Solar‐Tracking System for Solar Panels
A prototype of a passive solar‐tracking system utilizing buoyant force based on water level was developed, and its MATLAB/Simulink model was implemented. This study is expected to encourage researchers to design solar‐tracking mechanisms using metals with different thermal expansion coefficients, air, oil, and other fluids. ABSTRACT This study presents

Structure–Property–Performance Relationships in a Low Band‐Gap AgBiS2 Photoanodic Material
A solvothermally synthesized silver bismuth sulfide (AgBiS2) material shows enhanced photocurrents after mild annealing. Spectroscopic and electrochemical analyses reveal how annealing modifies the local structure of the material and, thereby, the charge‐carrier density and dynamics, improving photoelectrocatalytic performance for applications in ...
