Antibody‐Functionalized DNA Hydrogels Recognize and Isolate Living Tumor Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
We present a novel strategy using DNA Y‐motif nanostar hydrogels and DNA‐functionalized antibodies for precise live‐cell manipulation. Target cells are labeled with DNA sticky ends that hybridize with DNA Y‐motifs, enabling their incorporation and capture within the hydrogel during self‐assembly.

Looking under the lamp-post: quantifying the performance of contact tracing in the United States during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic

open access: yesBMC Public Health
Contact tracing forms a crucial part of the public-health toolbox in mitigating and understanding emergent pathogens and nascent disease outbreaks. Contact tracing in the United States was conducted during the pre-Omicron phase of the ongoing COVID-19 ...

Laser Micromachining of Liquid Metal Patterns for Stretchable Electronic Circuits

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A cleanroom‐free fabrication strategy combines UV‐laser micromachining with a copper foil wetting layer to rapidly produce high resolution, liquid metal based stretchable electronic circuits on diverse substrates. The scalable, maskless process enables complex circuit designs (<$<$3 h, ∼$\sim$15/device) with excellent electrical stability under strain,

Multimodal Imaging Reveals Cerebral Microcirculation Dynamics and Mechanisms in Mouse Central Nervous System After Intranasal Infection With Recombinant Pseudorabies Virus

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Multi‐modality imaging strategy applied to PRV‐induced central nervous system infection enables dynamic visualization of cerebrovascular dysfunction, including hyperemia, hypoperfusion, and vascular remodeling. These changes are linked to microglial activation and impaired angiogenesis, providing mechanistic insight into PRV neuropathogenesis and ...

Fractal sets satisfying the strong open set condition in complete metric spaces [PDF]

open access: yesOpuscula Mathematica, 2008
Let \(K\) be a Hutchinson fractal in a complete metric space \(X\), invariant under the action \(S\) of the union of a finite number of Lipschitz contractions. The Open Set Condition states that \(X\) has a non-empty subinvariant bounded open subset \(V\)

Morphological and Hyperphosphorylation Transitions of Nanoscale Tau Aggregates in Alzheimer's Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Super‐resolution microscopy identifies nano‐sized tau aggregates (nano‐aggregates) and reveals distinct transitions in their morphology and phosphorylation profiles across control, Primary Age‐Related Tauopathy, and Alzheimer's disease brains. Morphology and hyperphosphorylation signatures distinguish physiological from pathological forms, with nano ...

RESEARCH OF MONOMETALLIC AND BINARY FCC-CLUSTERS WITH THE SYMMETRY AXIS OF THE FIFTH ORDER [PDF]

open access: yesФизико-химические аспекты изучения кластеров, наноструктур и наноматериалов, 2011
The formation of atomistic structures of Cu, Au, Ag Cu-Au clusters was studied in the computer molecular dynamics experiment. The simulation of the crystallization process of clusters with the number of atoms from 300 to 1092 is executed.
