Extrapolation of lung pharmacokinetics of bedaquiline across species using physiologically‐based pharmacokinetic modelling

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, EarlyView.
Aims Bedaquiline (BDQ) is a first‐in‐class diarylquinoline (DARQ) and a potent anti‐tuberculosis drug, vital in combating multi‐drug resistant tuberculosis (TB). Understanding its lung pharmacokinetics (PK) across species is crucial for effective clinical translation.

Self‐Assembly of Heterochiral and Homochiral Peptides Conjugated to PNA Dimers and Their Integration in Peptide‐Based Hydrogels

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Homochiral PNA‐peptide conjugates mixed to homochiral peptides yield hydrogels supporting cell growth. Abstract Hybrid biomolecules composed of short peptides and nucleic acid analogues can self‐assemble and are good candidates to produce new materials thanks to their biocompatibility and versatility.

Resource‐Efficient Electrodes with Metallized Woven‐Glass‐Grid Current Collectors for Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesChemSusChem, Volume 18, Issue 6, March 15, 2025.
The use of metallized glass‐based woven‐grids instead of metal foils as current collectors for LIBs leads to a significant reduction in metal usage by over 90 % and weight savings of more than 80 %, resulting in an 11 % increase in specific energy at the cell level. Abstract A novel class of resource‐efficient, woven‐glass‐grid current collectors (CCs)
