Fractal Yagi antenna

2015 Conference on Microwave Techniques (COMITE), 2015
A Yagi antenna with three fractal Koch curve shaped elements is proposed in this paper. The antenna performances (radiation pattern, return loss and gain) are simulated and compared with these of classical Yagi antenna for the same frequency band. Fractal Yagi antenna features relatively small size and high gain.

Beauty of fractals design of fractal antennas

2007 6th International Conference on Antenna Theory and Techniques, 2007
In this paper, beauty of fractals, some bases of its, processes, parameters and pictures of Mandelbrot and Julia sets are represented. Algorithms of computer-aided design of the dipole and planar fractal antennas of different orders are described.

Comparative analysis of Koch, sierpinski and composite fractal antennas with rectangular microstrip fractal antenna

2016 11th International Conference on Industrial and Information Systems (ICIIS), 2016
In this paper a comparison has been made between the existing fractal antennas with the proposed microstrip antenna. The proposed antenna is designed by using fractal technique and the antenna can be used for different wireless applications as per FCC standards such as WiMAX (3.3–3.7), point to point high speed wireless communication (5.92–8.5) and ...

Multiband Fractal Antenna for Wireless Applications

2018 6th International Conference on Wireless Networks and Mobile Communications (WINCOM), 2018
In this present paper a Microstrip circular patch antennas with right angled isosceles triangles (RIT) on the edge is designed. The presented antennas are multi and wide band, small in structure and easy in fabrication. The circular patch has been fractured by superimposing the right angled isosceles triangles on the edge, and in the ground.

DNA is a fractal antenna in electromagnetic fields

International Journal of Radiation Biology, 2011
To review the responses of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) to electromagnetic fields (EMF) in different frequency ranges, and characterise the properties of DNA as an antenna. We examined published reports of increased stress protein levels and DNA strand breaks due to EMF interactions, both of which are indicative of DNA damage.

Modeling of fractal antennas

Journal of Communications Technology and Electronics, 2006
Results on the numerical analysis of the Sierpinski and Koch fractal antennas are presented. It is shown that self-similarity of fractal structures affects electromagnetic properties of antenna structures created on the basis of these fractals. It is demonstrated that the Sierpinski and Koch fractal antennas are multiband structures; therefore, these ...

Fractal Antenna with Maximum Capture Power

Proceedings of the 6th International Conference on Telecommunications and Remote Sensing, 2017
The variety of fractal curve types opens up additional structural and electrodynamic possibilities in the design of antennas. The article describes experimental results of studying characteristics of different types of fractal antennas (fractal triangular Koch antenna, fractal square Koch antenna and anisotropic fractal antenna).

Fractal wired loop triangle antenna

10th IEEE International Conference on Electronics, Circuits and Systems, 2003. ICECS 2003. Proceedings of the 2003, 2004
Fractal shape is a structure that has been formed by broken curve. Its application in antenna theory is in design of small antenna, multiband antenna and fractal array antenna. In this paper, we consider fractal wired triangle loop antenna. This structure is very similar to Sierpinski triangle. Therefore it behaves similar as Sierpinski triangle.

IMPACT OF FRACTAL DIMENSION IN THE DESIGN OF MULTI-RESONANT FRACTAL ANTENNAS

Fractals, 2004
During the last few decades, fractal geometries have found numerous applications in several fields of science and engineering such as geology, atmospheric sciences, forest sciences, physiology and electromagnetics. Although the very fractal nature of these geometries have been the impetus for their application in many of these areas, a direct ...

Fractal dimension and frequency response of fractal shaped antennas

IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium. Digest. Held in conjunction with: USNC/CNC/URSI North American Radio Sci. Meeting (Cat. No.03CH37450), 2004
We have used the fractal nature of the geometry in obtaining approximate design equations for dipole antennas with Hilbert curve geometry. We have also reported that in the case of Koch curves, the fractal dimension can be varied by changing the indentation angle, and the resonant frequencies of the resultant antenna follow a close relation with the ...
