Odderon and Pomeron as Fractal Dimension in $pp$ and $\bar{p}p$ Total Cross Sections
In this paper one presents a naive parametrization to $pp$ and $\bar{p}p$ total cross sections. The main goal of this parametrization is to study the possible fractal structure present in the total cross section. The result of the fitting procedure shows

This work provides a practical guide for neuroengineers to design advanced neural interfaces, embracing and tailoring the concept of functional disorder. By bridging 2D and 3D in vitro models, this work highlights how non‐periodic, spatially heterogeneous, multiscale nanotopography can enable more physiologically relevant platforms for studying neural ...

Bioinspired Morphology‐Decoupled Soft Gripper with Enhanced Bidirectional Grasping Capability
Inspired by biological predation, a novel gripper decouples cross‐modal grasping via dual morphological configurations. Synergistically integrating hybrid rigid and soft coupled fingers with a metamaterial palm, the system performs active compliant grasping for static objects and passive cage capture for dynamic targets.

Modelling the Self-similarity in Complex Networks Based on Coulomb's Law [PDF]
Recently, self-similarity of complex networks have attracted much attention. Fractal dimension of complex network is an open issue. Hub repulsion plays an important role in fractal topologies.

Fractal Dimension versus Process Complexity [PDF]
We look at small Turing machines (TMs) that work with just two colors (alphabet symbols) and either two or three states. For any particular such machineτand any particular inputx, we consider what we call thespace-timediagram which is basically the collection of consecutive tape configurations of the computationτ(x).

Soft and Adhesive Cardiac Patch for Electrophysiological and Contraction Measurement
This study developed an epicardial electronic patch with a modulus similar to that of the heart (approximately 65kPa), which can collect stable electrocardiogram signals and myocardial contractility on the surface of a dynamically beating heart. This is attributed to the hydrogen bond interaction formed between the amino and catechol groups in the ...
