The complexity of sequences generated by the arc-fractal system.
We study properties of the symbolic sequences extracted from the fractals generated by the arc-fractal system introduced earlier by Huynh and Chew. The sequences consist of only a few symbols yet possess several nontrivial properties.

A comment on “Measuring fractality” by Stadnitski (2012) [PDF]
In a recent publication Stadnitski (2012) presented an overview of methods to estimate fractal scaling in time series, outlined as an accessible tutorial1. The publication was set-up as a comparison between monofractal and ARFIMA methods, and promotes ARFIMA to distinguish between spurious and genuine 1/f noise, shedding light on “the problem that the ...

Fusogenic RNA Nanomodules for Fusion‐Mediated and Multiplexed siRNA Delivery
A fusogenic lipid‐layered RNA nanomodules (L‐CRAMs) enable high‐capacity and long‐lasting siRNA delivery through membrane fusion. These nanomodules carry exceptionally large siRNA payloads, avoid conventional endosomal uptake, and release multiple functional siRNAs through Dicer‐mediated processing.

A systematic review is conducted to assess the influence of electrode architecture across micro‐ to mesoscopic length scales on electron‐transfer pathways in electrocatalysis. We discuss the structure‐activity relationships in electrocatalytic applications, including resource recovery and environmental remediation, and provide cost‐effective, efficient

Tangent measure distributions of fractal measures [PDF]
Tangent measure distributions were introduced by \textit{C. Bandt} [Lecture at the 5th Conference on Real Analysis and Measure Theory, Capri, 1992 (per. bibl.)] and \textit{S. Graf} [Monatsh. Math. 120, No. 3-4, 223-246 (1995; Zbl 0841.28011)], who proved that the tangent measure distributions of any self-similar measure are the same at almost all ...

A field‐driven transition from chiral stripes to an achiral fan state is observed in a tetragonal magnet and linked to a temperature‐dependent rotation of the effective Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction axis. This interplay generates pronounced in‐plane anisotropy and provides a new route for controlling chiral spin textures in noncentrosymmetric ...

The water permeability of amorphous carbon dots (CDs) is demonstrated by investigating their plasticization. Novel polyamide‐based and amorphous nanoparticles are synthesized by controlling their inner packing density. Water plasticization is evidenced by the decrease of the CDs glass transition temperature with increasing the hydration degree.

Roughness Change Analysis of Sea Surface From Visible Images by Fractals
This paper presents an analysis of sea surface roughness from visible images based on fractals features for the first time. We measure fractal dimensions of sea surface images by the methods of box counting, fractional Brownian motion, and area ...

Leaftronics: Bio‐Fractal Scaffolds From Leaf Venation for Low‐Waste Electronics
“Leaftronics” transforms naturally evolved leaf venation into quasi‐fractal scaffolds for sustainable electronics. Polymer‐infiltrated leaf skeletons can be used to fabricate ultra‐smooth, reflow‐ and thin‐film‐compatible decomposable substrates, while making the same lignocellulose networks conducting results in flexible transparent electrodes.
