Chromatin Packing Domain Engineering Through the Manipulation of Nuclear Cationic States

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Manipulation of intranuclear divalent cation concentrations rapidly and reversibly remodels chromatin packing domains in living cells. Magnesium depletion disrupts domain compaction, heterochromatin organization, and transcriptional regulation, whereas magnesium loading promotes more compact and stable domains.

Harnessing Li‐Ion Binding Energy for Solvation‐Guided Electrolyte Additive Design and Robust Solid Electrolyte Interphase Reinforcement

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A solvation‐guided design strategy for electrolyte additives is established, identifying Li‐ion binding energy as a crucial determinant for effective interface reinforcement. ABSTRACT The rational design of electrolyte systems is essential for stabilizing the electrode−electrolyte interface to enhance the electrochemical performance of lithium‐ion ...

Evaporation Kinetics Engineering Suppressed Bimolecular Recombination in All‐Polymer Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this study, phenanthrene (Ph), a volatile solid additive with a weak tendency toward self‐aggregation, is introduced as a donor‐selective morphology regulator in benchmark all‐PSC systems. The moderate evaporation kinetics of Ph enable cooperative crystallization of donors and acceptors, leading to an increased fractal dimension with reduced donor ...

On an abrasion-motivated fractal model

open access: yesNonlinearity
Abstract In this paper, we consider a fractal model motivated by the abrasion of convex polyhedra, where the abrasion is realised by chipping small neighbourhoods of vertices. After providing a formal description of the successive chippings, we show that the net of edges converge to a compact limit set under mild assumptions. Furthermore,

Flame Suppression in Lithium‐Ion Batteries During Thermal Runaway Through Solvent Design Considering the Volatility–Flammability Relationship

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An asymmetric sulfonate solvent forms thermally stable interphases and demonstrates non‐flammability, suppressing heat accumulation for safer, high‐performance lithium‐ion batteries. ABSTRACT An asymmetric sulfonate‐based linear solvent, 2,2,2‐trifluoromethyl mesylate (FMS), is designed and used as the primary solvent in liquid electrolytes to enhance ...

A study on the existence of unique stable approximate solutions: fractal-fractional-based model of an energy supply–demand system

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems
We investigate a fractional energy supply–demand system (ES–DS) model using power-law-type kernels and advanced operators called fractal-fractional operators with a couple of fractal and fractional orders.
