A nonlinear kinetic model was developed and successfully implemented, which describes the degradation of the protein C‐phycocyanin depending on temperature and pH value. C‐phycocyanin had been extracted from two different cyanobacteria. In addition to protein degradation, the fading of the typical blue color of this protein was included in the model ...

An Analytical Design Model of a Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption Process for Biogas Upgrading
A steady‐state model was developed for a vacuum pressure swing adsorption (VPSA) process comprising adsorption, depressurization, and evacuation steps. The resulting analytical plant design model provides the optimal adsorber height required to achieve a target product purity with maximum bed utilization.

The new direction in radio physics: fractal-scaling and scale-invariant radiolocation
The new kind and approach of up-to-date radiolocation: fractal-scaling or scale-invariant radiolocation has been proposed. It leads to basic changes in the theoretical radiolocation structure itself and also in its mathematical apparatus.

The use of metallized glass‐based woven‐grids instead of metal foils as current collectors for LIBs leads to a significant reduction in metal usage by over 90 % and weight savings of more than 80 %, resulting in an 11 % increase in specific energy at the cell level. Abstract A novel class of resource‐efficient, woven‐glass‐grid current collectors (CCs)

Fractal dimensions for unsaturated porous media
The analytical expressions of the fractal dimensions for wetting and non-wetting phases for unsaturated porous media are derived and are found to be a function of porosity, maximum and minimum pore sizes as well as saturation.
