CAUIM: Amazonian Cassava‐Based Programmable Biocolloid

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Bridging indigenous heritage and computation, this work introduces the usage of cauim, a traditional Amazonian cassava fermented beverage, as a programmable memristive‐like substrate and resistance switching. The material exhibits frequency‐dependent dynamics enabling reconfigurable Boolean logic operations.

Investigation of Hexagonal Honeycomb Topology for Impact Optimization in Energetic Material

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The regulation of the mechanical properties of energetic materials manufactured by traditional processes is constrained. However, the introduction of lattice structures can facilitate the regulation of mechanical properties without necessitating alterations to the materials themselves. Using finite element analysis and experimental validation,

Local fractional variational iteration algorithm II for non-homogeneous model associated with the non-differentiable heat flow

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering, 2015
In this article, we begin with the non-homogeneous model for the non-differentiable heat flow, which is described using the local fractional vector calculus, from the first law of thermodynamics in fractal media point view. We employ the local fractional

Generalized Convex Functions on Fractal Sets and Two Related Inequalities

open access: yes, 2014
We introduce the generalized convex function on fractal sets of real line numbers and study the properties of the generalized convex function. Based on these properties, we establish the generalized Jensen’s inequality and generalized Hermite-Hadamard's ...

$p$-adic path set fractals and arithmetic

open access: yesJournal of Fractal Geometry, Mathematics of Fractals and Related Topics, 2014
This paper considers a class of subsets of the p -adic integers obtained by graph-directed constructions analogous to that of Mauldin and Williams over the real numbers. These sets are characterized as collections of p -adic integers whose

Numerical and Experimental Study of Mixing Characteristics in a Spiral Micromixer

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Significant enhancement of mixing performance can be achieved by Dean vortices in spiral channels. In order to deeply explore the mixing mechanisms and variation laws in spiral micromixers, this work designed a spiral micromixer and adopted a combined method of experiments and numerical simulations to analyze the mixing performance and ...

On Fractal–Fractional Simpson-Type Inequalities: New Insights and Refinements of Classical Results

open access: yesMathematics
In this paper, we introduce a novel fractal–fractional identity, from which we derive new Simpson-type inequalities for functions whose first-order local fractional derivative exhibits generalized s-convexity in the second sense.
