An Analytical Design Model of a Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption Process for Biogas Upgrading
A steady‐state model was developed for a vacuum pressure swing adsorption (VPSA) process comprising adsorption, depressurization, and evacuation steps. The resulting analytical plant design model provides the optimal adsorber height required to achieve a target product purity with maximum bed utilization.

Hybrid Integral Inequalities on Fractal Set
In this study, we introduce a new hybrid identity that effectively combines Newton–Cotes and Gauss quadrature, allowing us to recover well-known formulas such as Simpson’s second rule and the left- and right-Radau two-point rules, among others. Building upon this flexible framework, we establish several new biparametrized fractal integral inequalities ...

The SIR Model in a Moving Population: Propagation of Infection and Herd Immunity
ABSTRACT In a collection of particles performing independent random walks on Zd$\mathbb {Z}^d$ we study the spread of an infection with SIR dynamics. Susceptible particles become infected when they meet an infected particle. Infected particles heal and are removed at rate ν$\nu$.

The use of metallized glass‐based woven‐grids instead of metal foils as current collectors for LIBs leads to a significant reduction in metal usage by over 90 % and weight savings of more than 80 %, resulting in an 11 % increase in specific energy at the cell level. Abstract A novel class of resource‐efficient, woven‐glass‐grid current collectors (CCs)

The effects of grout strength and thickness on the shear behavior of bolt–grout interfaces (BGI) under constant normal stiffness conditions are investigated. Shear strength, failure modes, and acoustic emission characteristics are examined. The findings reveal that grout strength exerts a significantly greater influence on BGI shear strength and ...

Based on experimental results and theoretical analysis, an established rock damage accumulation model that comprehensively considers the preapplied static load, impact peak value, impact frequency, and impact times. Abstract To study the rock damage mechanism under high static loading and superimposed medium strain rate cyclic impact loading, a series ...

Determination of electrical conductivity in nanocomposites with chaotic structure
The problem of predicting the effective conductivity of composites is considered. An approach is proposed for determining the effective conductivity of a composite material based on a fractal model of the random composite structure and an iterative ...

Lower S-dimension of fractal sets
The interrelations between (upper and lower) Minkowski contents and (upper and lower) surface area based contents (S-contents) as well as between their associated dimensions have recently been investigated for general sets in R^d (cf. [3]). While the upper dimensions always coincide and the upper contents are bounded by each other, the bounds obtained ...

The fused data extracted from the distributed monitoring system as the data basis, combined with dynamic geological data, are imported into a deep learning model. As the geological conditions of mining and excavation change, the risk of water inrush at the working face is retrieved in real time.
