New Approach to Fractal Approximation of Vector-Functions
This paper introduces new approach to approximation of continuous vector-functions and vector sequences by fractal interpolation vector-functions which are multidimensional generalization of fractal interpolation functions.

Anomalous diffusion on a fractal mesh
An exact analytical analysis of anomalous diffusion on a fractal mesh is presented. The fractal mesh structure is a direct product of two fractal sets which belong to a main branch of backbones and side branch of fingers.

Ductility Tuning via Cluster Network Characteristics of Porous Components
Network optimization via cluster characteristics induced by interaction of stress concentration is proposed, demonstrating increased cluster size and dispersion in non‐uniform porous components. The optimized structures exhibit, for the first time, that enhanced ductility and damage progression is controllable through zigzag cluster network designed by

Approximations of fractal sets
Five algorithms are presented for the approximation of fractal sets. The first three were proposed by Williams, Hutchison and Barnsley Demko. The latter two by the authors, one of which is a graphics algorithm. Error estimates are made for all the algorithms and numerical comparisons are done using classical examples of attractors in the plane.

Deterministic fractals: extracting additional information from small-angle scattering data
The small-angle scattering curves of deterministic mass fractals are studied and analyzed in the momentum space. In the fractal region, the curve I(q)q^D is found to be log-periodic with a good accuracy, and the period is equal to the scaling factor of ...

The authors remark that the Calculus of Variations and Geometric Measure Theory does not seem to have an easy extension to fractal problems. Their aim is to give a contribution to the problem defining lower semicontinuous functionals. They consider the following special case: Let \(V_ 0\) be an equilateral triangle of side length 1 with center in 0 ...

Temporal and Cell‐Specific Regulation of Synaptic Homeostasis by the Chromatin Remodeler Chd1
Chd1, the Drosophila homologue of mammalian CHD2 ‐ a gene linked to autism, epilepsy, and intellectual disability, is required for synaptic homeostatic plasticity. Chd1 in glia is necessary for the rapid induction of synaptic homeostasis, whereas Chd1 in motoneurons, muscle, and glia is critical for long‐term maintenance.

Fractal Dimension of a Random Invariant Set and Applications
We prove an abstract result on random invariant sets of finite fractal dimension. Then this result is applied to a stochastic semilinear degenerate parabolic equation and an upper bound is obtained for the random attractors of fractal dimension.

Time‐resolved SAXS reveals how physiologically relevant metal ions shape the earliest conformational responses of monomeric α‐synuclein. Fe3+ induces rapid compaction, Cu2+ generates heterogeneous and partially folded ensembles, while Mn2+ and Zn2+ cause only modest changes.
