Fractal Mellin transform and non-local derivatives
Georgian Mathematical Journal, 2023This paper provides a comparison between the fractal calculus of fractal sets and fractal curves. There are introduced the analogues of the Riemann–Liouville and Caputo integrals and derivatives for fractal curves, which are non-local derivatives ...

Spiral-Transform-Based Fractal Sorting Matrix for Chaotic Image Encryption
IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems Part 1: Regular Papers, 2022Chaotic image encryption is widely used in the field of information security. This paper proposes a novel chaotic image encryption method with spiral-transform-based fractal sorting matrix (STFSM).

Solving fractal differential equations via fractal Laplace transforms
Journal of Applied Analysis, 2022AbstractThe intention of this study is to investigate the fractal version of both one-term and three-term fractal differential equations. The fractal Laplace transform of the local derivative and the non-local fractal Caputo derivative is applied to investigate the given models.

R-transformers and fractal curves
Cybernetics and Systems Analysis, 1999\(R\)-transformers process binary representation of real numbers and, as it has been already shown by \textit{L. P. Lisovik} [Kibern. Sist. Anal. 3, No. 3, 11-22 (1994; Zbl 0868.28004)], make it possible to specify a continuous nowhere-differentiable function, a Peano curve, a singular strictly increasing function, and some fractal curves.

Fractal Timing of Verbal Transforms
Perception, 1997The paper deals with the timing pattern of perceptual change elicited by multiple repetitions of a syllable (the verbal-transformation effect). We show that the distribution of the dwell time, the time spent perceiving a given phonemic form before switching to another form, obeys a power law with an exponent valued between 1 and 2.

In traditional geometry we model nature using the points, lines, and planes of Euclid. Very recently Mandelbrot (1983) gave us fractals to use in building new models. One of the reasons these new fractal models are successful is that a great deal of self similarity is found in nature.

Fractal Images of Chemical Transformations
Doklady Chemistry, 2003Author formulates certain ideas on presentation of chemical reactions by virtue of discrete mathematics. Some problems of fractal presentation are illustrated by the Sierpinski carpet model with the Hausdorff dimensionality \(D = \frac{\log 8}{\log 3} = 1.8928\) by the Pascal's triangle, by the Galey tree.
