Amplification of Photochemical Chiroptical Activity of Chiral Gold Nanocubes
“Chiral gold nanocubes (AuNCs) enable polarization‐dependent plasmonic catalysis with exceptional photochemical circular dichroism. Circularly polarized light drives hot‐electron‐induced reactions with asymmetric reaction rates, monitored via operando SERS, with photochemical g‐factors exceeding optical limits.

Robust β‐Sheet Peptide Reinforced Polymer Fibers
β‐sheet nanocrystals are embedded into a range of different polymeric fibers by introducing a soluble monomer into the spinning dope solution and polymerizing after fiber formation. Polymer crystallization is found in specific polymeric fibers, resulting in an increase in tensile strength 2.2 and 4.3 times for poly(caprolactone) and cellulose acetate ...

Evolution Mechanism of Nonmetallic Inclusions in Fe‐1.5Al‐xSi (x = 0.5–3.0 wt%) Alloyed Steels
Spherical SiO2 inclusions are predominantly observed in the steel when Si is alloyed. They sinter and grow through the collision mechanism. Aggregated alumina and polyhedral spinel inclusions are exclusively observed after subsequent addition of Al to Si‐alloyed steel.

Origin of Dynamic Network Formation of 2D Nanofillers in a Flexible Matrix
Conductive networks of carbon nanofillers that strongly interact with the matrix are studied to enable high‐performance printed flexible conductors. The highly folded, wrinkled structures of 2D graphene sheets and their large interfacial areas are shown to strongly affect composite morphology and electromechanical properties compared to 0D and 1D ...

Hyperspectral Raman imaging to understand patterns in dried biofluids in Alzheimer's disease
Raman spectroscopy is commonly used to identify biomarkers in biological fluids, often focusing on the outer ring of dried droplets due to molecular accumulation from the coffee ring effect. However, this approach may overlook important spectral information, so hyperspectral Raman mapping is used to analyze the entire droplet and identify optimal ...
