Stability of Fractional Order Systems [PDF]
The theory and applications of fractional calculus (FC) had a considerable progress during the last years. Dynamical systems and control are one of the most active areas, and several authors focused on the stability of fractional order systems. Nevertheless, due to the multitude of efforts in a short period of time, contributions are scattered along ...

Modeling and Control Research of Fractional-Order Cascaded H-Bridge Multilevel STATCOM
This paper introduces fractional-order capacitors and fractional-order inductors into the conventional integer-order cascaded H-bridge multilevel static compensator (ICHM-STATCOM), thereby constructing the main circuit of the fractional-order cascaded H ...

CFOA-Based Fractional Order PIλDδ Controller [PDF]
Conventional Current Feedback Operational Amplifier (CFOA) is not current controllable or not electronically controllable. It is thus of interest to add a current mirror into the CFOA in order to make it current controllable.

A Review of Fractional Order Entropies [PDF]
Fractional calculus (FC) is the area of calculus that generalizes the operations of differentiation and integration. FC operators are non-local and capture the history of dynamical effects present in many natural and artificial phenomena. Entropy is a measure of uncertainty, diversity and randomness often adopted for characterizing complex dynamical ...

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Electronically Adjustable Emulator of the Fractional-Order Capacitor
This paper presents a design of the controllable emulator of the FOC (Fractional-Order Capacitor) and its application. The circuit is based on 5th-order RC topology (type Foster I), where the passive elements in the topology are replaced by ...

Fractional-Order Inductor: Design, Simulation, and Implementation
Fractional calculus has tremendous potential in modeling the evolution of complex systems including those with memory. Indeed, fractional-order models are more accurate in approximating non-locally distributed dynamics with short- or long-term memory ...

This paper continues the subject of symmetry breaking of fractional-order maps, previously addressed by one of the authors. Several known planar classes of curves of integer order are considered and transformed into their fractional order. In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.
