Jump resonance in fractional order circuits
2018 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS), 2018The occurrence of an hysteretic loop in the frequency response of a driven nonlinear system is a phenomenon deeply investigated in nonlinear control theory. Such a phenomenon, which is linked to the multistable behavior of the system, is called jump resonance, since the magnitude of the frequency response is subjected to an abrupt jump up/down with ...

ANALYSIS OF THE FRACTIONAL-ORDER PARALLEL TANK CIRCUIT
Journal of Circuits, Systems and Computers, 2013A parallel LβCα tank circuit with an α-order capacitor and a β-order inductor is proposed in this paper, where α and β are positive real numbers. The impedance of the parallel LβCα tank circuit, which could perform as a pure real, pure imaginary or short impedance, is discussed in detail, followed by the phase response analysis in α – β plane.

Chaos in a Fractional Order Duffing System: a circuit implementation
2019 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man and Cybernetics (SMC), 2019In this paper, a fractional order representation and the related hardware realization of the Duffing system are presented. The considered system can be defined as the general case of the standard Duffing system, which is a typical example of a non autonomous chaotic system.

Fractional-Order Components and Their Basic Circuits
2021Fractional-order circuit is a kind of circuit that contains fractional-order components, such as the fractional-order inductor, fractional-order capacitor, and fractional-order mutual inductor. Different from the integer-order component that is described by first-order calculus, the current–voltage relationship of the fractional-order components is ...

Fractional Order Circuit Elements Derived from Electromagnetism
2019 MIXDES - 26th International Conference "Mixed Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems", 2019In this paper, derivations of fractional-order (FO) circuit-element equations from electromagnetism are presented. Whilst many papers are devoted to FO modelling of electrical circuits, there are no strong foundations for such an approach. Therefore, we investigate relations between the FO electromagnetism and the FO circuit theory.

A Fractional Order Circuit Model of the PT
Advanced Materials Research, 2013This paper presents a new digital potential transformer (PT) model. Due to the effect of hysteresis and saturation phenomenon, the magnetization curve of iron core has a strong nonlinear. From the perspective of hysteresis effect of iron core, this article presents a PT core model using the theory of fractional calculus, then propose a new PT circuit ...

Stochastic filtering in fractional-order circuits
Nonlinear Dynamics, 2021This paper presents the extended Kalman filter (EKF) and moving horizon estimation (MHE) approach-based nonlinear stochastic filtering of fractional-order complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) circuit. The fractional-order calculus is used to get better reliability of the circuit.

Controllability of fractional-order Chua’s circuit
Chinese Physics B, 2015The ultimate proof of our understanding of nature and engineering systems is reflected in our ability to control them. Since fractional calculus is more universal, we bring attention to the controllability of fractional order systems. First, we extend the conventional controllability theorem to the fractional domain.

2017 International Conference on Electromagnetic Devices and Processes in Environment Protection with Seminar Applications of Superconductors (ELMECO & AoS), 2017
This article focuses on fractional linear RLC electrical systems, which are a generalization of classic RLC circuit to non-integer order derivatives. A method for timedomain analysis of the fractional order model of RLC circuit is proposed for electric circuits responses determination under an arbitrary voltage source signals.
