Synthesis of a fractional order audio boost filter
2017 29th International Conference on Microelectronics (ICM), 2017This paper introduces a fractional order audio band pass boost filter. The boost filter is part of the equalizer along with the cut filter: the first (e.g. the boost) is a band pass filter whereas the second is a stop band filter. These types of audio filters are widely used for their effectiveness in removing noise and echo.

Switched-current fractional-order filter designs
2016 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS), 2016Designs of switched-current fractional-order filters are presented in this paper. The derivation of the filters is performed through a transposition of the Functional Block Diagram of the continuous-time prototype filter into discrete-time domain using the bilinear s-to-z transformation.
