Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Relationship Between the Nonlinear Oscillator and the Motor Cortex

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
The investigations show that the fractional calculus could be employed for complex biological systems and capture intrinsic phenomena. At the same time, the research results also show that the neural network has the characteristics of fractional calculus

dUTPase is essential in zebrafish development and possesses several single‐nucleotide variants with pronounced structural and functional consequences

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
dUTPases are involved in balancing the appropriate nucleotide pools. We showed that dUTPase is essential for normal development in zebrafish. The different zebrafish genomes contain several single‐nucleotide variations (SNPs) of the dut gene. One of the dUTPase variants displayed drastically lower protein stability and catalytic efficiency as compared ...

FPGA implementation of adaptive sliding mode control and genetically optimized PID control for fractional-order induction motor system with uncertain load

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2017
In this paper, we investigate the control of 4-D nonautonomous fractional-order uncertain model of a PI speed-regulated current-driven induction motor (FOIM) using a fractional-order adaptive sliding mode controller (FOASMC).

Fractional-Order Model Predictive Frequency Control of an Islanded Microgrid

open access: yesEnergies, 2018
Optimal frequency control of an islanded microgrid has been a challenging issue in the research field of microgrids. Recently, fractional-order calculus theory and some related control methods have attempted to handle this issue.

Fractional Model Reference Adaptive PIλDμ Control

open access: yesJournal of New Results in Science, 2016
This study explains the auto-adjustable fractional order the proportional–integral–derivative (PID) controller design methodology by using the technique of fractional model reference adaptive control (fractional MRAC).

A Fractional-Order Model for HIV Dynamics in a Two-Sex Population

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2018
Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a virus that attacks or infects cells in the immune system that causes immune decline. Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) is the most severe stage of HIV infection.

Diffusion process modeling by using fractional-order models

open access: yesApplied Mathematics and Computation, 2015
AbstractThis paper deals with a concept and description of a RC network as an electro-analog model of diffusion process which enables to simulate heat dissipation under different initial and boundary conditions. It is based on well-known analogy between heat and electrical conduction.

Differential regulation of ZFAS1 splice variants by endoplasmic reticulum stress in hepatocyte cell lines

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
ZFAS1 is a lncRNA promoting cell proliferation and migration, exhibiting high expression in various cancers. It is conserved, widely expressed, and produces multiple splice variants with unclear roles. We identified several splice variants in hepatocyte models, and found that inhibiting or suppressing regulators of the unfolded protein response (PERK ...
