Tuning the Optoelectronic Properties of Wide Bandgap Perovskites: Data‐Driven Insights from Combinatorial Synthesis and High‐Throughput Experimentation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Combinatorial vapor deposition enables independent tuning of Cs/Pb and Br/Cl in wide‐bandgap perovskites. Automated multimodal mapping of 500+ compositions reveals a high‐energy optical transition that correlates with enhanced photoluminescence, defining a practical Cs/Pb window.

Novel Color Orthogonal Moments-Based Image Representation and Recognition

open access: yes, 2020
Inspired by quaternion algebra and the idea of fractional-order transformation, we propose a new set of quaternion fractional-order generalized Laguerre orthogonal moments (QFr-GLMs) based on fractional-order generalized Laguerre polynomials.

Functionalizing Micro‐to‐Mesoscopic Electrode Architectures for Regulating Electron Transfer Behaviors in Electrocatalysis

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A systematic review is conducted to assess the influence of electrode architecture across micro‐ to mesoscopic length scales on electron‐transfer pathways in electrocatalysis. We discuss the structure‐activity relationships in electrocatalytic applications, including resource recovery and environmental remediation, and provide cost‐effective, efficient

Comparative analysis of pattern reconstruction using orthogonal moments [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
We present a detailed analysis of the reconstruction of graylevel images using orthogonal moments with respect to the basis sets of Zernike, Fourier-Mellin, Chebyshev-Fourier, and pseudo-Jacobi-Fourier polynomials. As test images, we use Ronchigrams with

Unified Phase‐Field Framework for Antiferroelectric, Ferroelectric and Dielectric Phases: Application to HZO Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
HfxZr1−xO2${\rm Hf}_x{\rm Zr}_{1-x}{\rm O}_2$ offers CMOS‐compatible nanoscale ferroelectricity yet suffers from a high Ec${\rm E}_c$ demanding large operating voltages. A unified phase‐field framework spanning AFE/FE/DE phases shows how FE grains soften neighboring AFE grains over λ$\lambda$ ≈$\approx$ 22–37 nm.

Modal Analysis of Light Propagation, Polarization and Diffraction by Cholesteric Liquid Crystal Layers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The analysis of optical eigenmodes in chiral liquid crystal with perpendicular or tilted helical axis, and their correspondence with the external medium, leads to an intuitive understanding of the angle and wavelength dependency of transmissive and reflective diffraction.

Realization of fractional band pass filter on reconfigurable analog device

open access: yes, 2021
This paper presents a realization of fractional-order Band pass-filter (FOBF) based on the concepts of fractional order inductors and fractional order capacitors. The FOBF is designed and implemented using both simulation and hardware approaches.

On fractional Fourier transform moments [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
-Based on the relation between the ambiguity function represented in a quasipolar coordinate system and the fractional power spectra, the fractional Fourier transform (FT) moments are introduced.

CO2‐to‐CO Conversion in a Gas‐Fed, Zero‐Gap, PEM Electrolyzer Enabled by Polycations and Nitrogen‐Doped Carbon‐Supported Cobalt Nanoparticles

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A gas‐fed, zero‐gap, PEM CO2 electrolyzer is realized by incorporating PDDA+ ions onto the carbonaceous Co/N‐C electrocatalyst, with gaseous H2 and CO2 fed into the anode and cathode, respectively. Operating without an aqueous electrolyte, the system sustains a peak FECO of 65.1% at 100 mA cm−2. ABSTRACT Electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction (ECO2R)
