Longitudinal Tumor Size and Survival Modeling for Exposure-Response Analysis of Drugs with Frequent Dose Reductions: Dose Justification of Abemaciclib in Patients with Metastatic Breast Cancer. [PDF]

open access: yesClin Pharmacol Ther
Abemaciclib is an oral anticancer drug indicated for treatment of HR+ HER2‐ breast cancer. Dose modifications due to side effects are frequent, thus drug exposures change over time as a result of altering the dose or temporarily withholding abemaciclib treatment.

Multi-anyons in the magnetic field

open access: yes, 1998
We consider the external magnetic field effects on the two types of anyon with fractional statistical parameters $p/q$ with coprimes $p$ and $q$, one with fractional charge $e/q $ and flux $p \phi_0(=hc/e)$(type I), the other with fractional flux $p ...

${L^p}$-variations for multifractal fractional random walks

open access: yes, 2008
A multifractal random walk (MRW) is defined by a Brownian motion subordinated by a class of continuous multifractal random measures $M[0,t], 0\le t\le1$.

Start, Stop, Rewind, Repeat—Cyclic Exposure of Adipose Stromal Cells‐derived Cartilage Organoids to Chondrogenic and Proliferative Cues to Achieve Scaled‐up and Customizable Bone Formation by Endochondral Ossification

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This study exploits the plasticity of ASCs‐derived cartilage organoids which generate a perichondrial layer of MSCs when exposed to cyclic chondrogenic/proliferative cues. Using these organoids as building blocks, we develop (i) Phalange Shaped Tissue Engineered Cartilage (Pa‐TECs), recapitulating endochondral ossification suitable for the treatment of

Linear Fractional p-Adic and Adelic Dynamical Systems

open access: yes, 2006
Using an adelic approach we simultaneously consider real and p-adic aspects of dynamical systems whose states are mapped by linear fractional transformations isomorphic to some subgroups of GL (2, Q), SL (2, Q) and SL (2, Z) groups.

Structural Eigenmodes of the Brain to Improve the Source Localization of EEG: Application to Epileptiform Activity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Geometry and connectivity are complementary structures, which have demonstrated their ability to represent the brain's functional activity. This study evaluates geometric and connectome eigenmodes as biologically informed constraints for EEG source localization.

Quantum and classical solutions for free particle in wedge billiards

open access: yes, 2000
We have studied the quantum and classical solutions of a particle constrained to move inside a sector circular billiard with angle $\theta_w$ and its pacman complement with angle $2\pi-\theta_w$.

Spectral‐Integrated Thermal Absorption Model for Broadband Laser‐Protective Reflectors Under Supercontinuum Irradiation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A universal laser absorption model based on spectral integration enables the design of ultrabroadband dielectric multilayer reflectors for laser protection. The model reveals exponential decay of absorption characterized by two coefficients, and a design that prioritizes short‐wavelength reflection minimizes heating.

Fractional L\'{e}vy-driven Ornstein--Uhlenbeck processes and stochastic differential equations

open access: yes, 2011
Using Riemann-Stieltjes methods for integrators of bounded $p$-variation we define a pathwise integral driven by a fractional L\'{e}vy process (FLP). To explicitly solve general fractional stochastic differential equations (SDEs) we introduce an Ornstein-

Quantitative Stain Mapping in X‐Ray Virtual Histology

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Virtual histology promises 3D tissue examination without physical sectioning, yet has lacked the tissue‐specificity of conventional pathology. This work demonstrates the first quantitative three‐dimensional stain mapping at histologically relevant resolution, separating contrast agent from tissue to reveal cellular features such as nuclei. The approach
