Establishment and biological characterization of radioresistant colorectal cancer cell lines

Under ionizing radiation exposure, radiation‐sensitive cancer cells exhibit oxidative stress and DNA damage, while radiation‐resistant cancer cells exhibit strong antioxidant properties and DNA damage repair. Radiotherapy resistance is a major cause of recurrence and metastasis in colorectal cancer (CRC).

Hydrophobicity causes anomalous migration of cystine/glutamate antiporter SLC7A11 in SDS‐PAGE with low acrylamide concentration

SLC7A11 frequently migrates faster in SDS‐PAGE. The present study found that the high hydrophobicity of SLC7A11 causes its anomalous migration in SDS‐PAGE with a low concentration of acrylamide gel. Enhanced discovery of bacterial laccase‐like multicopper oxidase through computer simulation and metagenomic analysis of industrial wastewater

We obtained potential bacterial laccase‐like multicopper oxidase (LMCO) sequences through metagenomic sequencing. All sequences exhibited significant differences from known LMCOs in databases. To select the most promising candidates, we performed structure prediction and molecular docking using alphafold2, metal3d and rosetta.
