Stated choice experiments with three-level factorial designs

open access: yesScientific African
Stated choice experiments have emerged as a powerful evaluative technique for uncovering critical factors within research contexts. In scenarios where resource constraints exist, these experiments offer an invaluable approach to maximizing information ...

Fractional factorial designs of two and three levels

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics, 1993
This paper presents a survey of results on balanced fractional factorial designs (BFFD) for \(2^ m\) and \(3^ m\) series. It includes new results on search designs of \(2^ m\) type, and the survey includes the main results obtained by the reviewer, Kuwada, Shirakura, Srivastava and Yamamoto in their papers on BFFD for \(2^ m\) and \(3^ m\) series. Some

Block Designs for Fractional Factorial Experiments with Replication

open access: yesJournal of the Royal Statistical Society Series B: Statistical Methodology, 1978
Summary This paper describes how incomplete block designs may be used to provide blocking plans for fractions of symmetrical factorial experiments. These designs introduce some replication, but provide a wide range of block sizes, from two units per block upwards.

Analysis of variance of balanced fractional factorial designs

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics, 1993
This paper surveys the ANOVA of \(2^ m\)-BFF designs of odd and even resolution and \(3^ m\)-BFF designs of resolution \(V\) and \(IV\). The focus is on ANOVA obtained by using the algebraic structure of a triangular multidimensional partially balanced (TMDPB) association scheme and a multidimensional relationship (MDR).

Distributive randomization: a pragmatic fractional factorial design to screen or evaluate multiple simultaneous interventions in a clinical trial

open access: yesBMC Medical Research Methodology
Background In some medical indications, numerous interventions have a weak presumption of efficacy, but a good track record or presumption of safety. This makes it feasible to evaluate them simultaneously.

Optimum farm practices for enhanced rice production in the Tono Irrigation Dam: A discrete choice experiment

open access: yesUrban Agriculture & Regional Food Systems
Ghana's ongoing reliance on rice imports persists despite government and non‐governmental organization efforts to boost local production. A recent survey aimed to identify optimal farming practices for rice cultivation in the Upper East Region, focusing ...
