Fast‐Responding O2 Gas Sensor Based on Luminescent Europium Metal‐Organic Frameworks (MOF‐76)
Luminescent MOF‐76 materials based on Eu(III) and mixed Eu(III)/Y(III) show rapid and reversible changes in emission intensity in response to O2 with very short response times. The effect is based on triplet quenching of the linker ligands that act as photosensitizers. Average emission lifetimes of a few milliseconds turn out to be mostly unaffected by

ESSENTIAL PROPERTIES RELATED TO SHORT-TIME FRACTIONAL FOURIER TRANSFORM
We start by defining the short-time fractional Fourier transform in this paper, which is a natural generalization of the fractional Fourier transform.

Thermal transport in Ru and W thin films is studied using steady‐state thermoreflectance, ultrafast pump–probe spectroscopy, infrared‐visible spectroscopy, and computations. Significant Lorenz number deviations reveal strong phonon contributions, reaching 45% in Ru and 62% in W.

Fractional Fourier transform of coherent optical systems application
In 1980 Namias presented the Fourier transform of Fractional order as a generalization of the well known Fourier transform, establishing the mathematic character of this with its set of theorems and properties. Initially he used it to solve problems with

Uncertainty principles for coupled fractional Wigner–Ville distribution
The coupled fractional Wigner–Ville distribution is a more general version of the fractional Wigner–Ville distribution. Main properties including boundedness, Moyal’s formula and inversion formula are studied in detail for the transformation ...

Direct Evidence of Topological Dirac Fermions in a Low Carrier Density Correlated 5d Oxide
The 5d oxide BiRe2O6 is discovered as a low‐carrier‐density topological semimetal hosting symmetry‐protected Dirac fermions stabilized by nonsymmorphic symmetries. Angle‐resolved photoemission spectroscopy, quantum oscillations, and magnetotransport measurements reveal gapless Dirac cones, quasi‐2D Fermi surfaces, high carrier mobility, and a field ...

We state the fractional Fourier transform and the continuous fractional wave packet transform as ways for analyzing persistent signals such as almost periodic functions and strong limit power signals. We construct frame decompositions for almost periodic

Fourier transforms of hypercomplex signals [PDF]
An overview is given to a new approach for obtaining generalized Fourier transforms in the context of hypercomplex analysis (or Clifford analysis). These transforms are applicable to higher-dimensional signals with several components and are different ...

Backbone Heterojunction Photocatalysts for Efficient Sacrificial Hydrogen Production
Herein, a ‘single‐component’ organic semiconductor photocatalyst is presented in which a molecular donor is bonded to a polymer acceptor. The resultant material demonstrates exceptional photocatalytic activity for hydrogen evolution in aqueous triethylamine with an outstanding external quantum efficiency of 38% at 420 nm.
