FRACTIONAL RELAXATION OF DISTRIBUTED ORDER

The first-order differential equation of exponential relaxation can be generalized by replacing the time-derivative by a fractional derivative of Caputo type, more generally by an integral over such fractional derivatives, the order of differentiation being the variable of integration.

Fractional-Order Models of the Ultracapacitors

In the paper, dynamic behavior of the ultracapacitors is investigated and analyzed. The ultracapacitors are represented by equivalent electrical circuit models and mathematically described by fractional-order differential equations. The identification procedure is proposed to identify the parameters of the models.
