Stochastic filtering in fractional-order circuits
Nonlinear Dynamics, 2021This paper presents the extended Kalman filter (EKF) and moving horizon estimation (MHE) approach-based nonlinear stochastic filtering of fractional-order complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) circuit. The fractional-order calculus is used to get better reliability of the circuit.

Fractional Order Circuit Elements Derived from Electromagnetism
2019 MIXDES - 26th International Conference "Mixed Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems", 2019In this paper, derivations of fractional-order (FO) circuit-element equations from electromagnetism are presented. Whilst many papers are devoted to FO modelling of electrical circuits, there are no strong foundations for such an approach. Therefore, we investigate relations between the FO electromagnetism and the FO circuit theory.

2017 International Conference on Electromagnetic Devices and Processes in Environment Protection with Seminar Applications of Superconductors (ELMECO & AoS), 2017
This article focuses on fractional linear RLC electrical systems, which are a generalization of classic RLC circuit to non-integer order derivatives. A method for timedomain analysis of the fractional order model of RLC circuit is proposed for electric circuits responses determination under an arbitrary voltage source signals.

A Fractional Order Circuit Model of the PT
Advanced Materials Research, 2013This paper presents a new digital potential transformer (PT) model. Due to the effect of hysteresis and saturation phenomenon, the magnetization curve of iron core has a strong nonlinear. From the perspective of hysteresis effect of iron core, this article presents a PT core model using the theory of fractional calculus, then propose a new PT circuit ...

Fractional-order circuit elements with memory
Proceedings of the 13th International Carpathian Control Conference (ICCC), 2012This paper deals with the fractional-order memristive, memcapacitative, and meminductive systems and their utilization in design of the new circuits with memory. We provide a mathematical description of such systems by using a technique of the fractional calculus. Some possible applications of “mem” systems are mentioned in article as well.

Fractional-Order Memristor-Based Chua's Circuit
IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems II: Express Briefs, 2010This express brief deals with the memristor-based Chua's circuit. For the first time, the fractional-order model for such system is presented. A numerical solution of the fractional-order memristor-based Chua's equations is derived for simulations. The dynamical behavior and stability analysis of this system are described and investigated as well.

Controllability of fractional-order Chua’s circuit
Chinese Physics B, 2015The ultimate proof of our understanding of nature and engineering systems is reflected in our ability to control them. Since fractional calculus is more universal, we bring attention to the controllability of fractional order systems. First, we extend the conventional controllability theorem to the fractional domain.

Analysis of a rectifier circuit realized with a fractional-order capacitor
2016 28th International Conference on Microelectronics (ICM), 2016An analysis of a traditional rectifier circuit when a fractional-order capacitor with order 0 < α < 1 replaces the integer-order smoothing capacitor (α = 1) is presented. Exploring the change in discharging behaviour that results from this replacement and the impacts on ripple voltage, nominal DC voltage, current, and power expressions used to describe
