Fractional order extremum seeking control
22nd Mediterranean Conference on Control and Automation, 2014In this paper, we propose a new control scheme based on Extremum-Seeking (ES) combined with Fractional-Order Systems (FOS). This auto-tuning strategy involving a fractional order integral action, is developed to optimize the system response without external dithering, exploiting disturbances already present in the control system.

An adaptive fractional-order controller
Proceedings of the 14th International Carpathian Control Conference (ICCC), 2013This paper deals with a possible adaptation algorithm for the fractional order controllers. Suggested adaptation is based on the heuristic principle, where the controller gain and the fractional order could be adapted. The fractional order controller is presented in discrete form together with implementation algorithm.
