Comparative assessment of crystallographic and cryo‐EM models in the Protein Data Bank
Raw data obtained by X‐ray crystallography or cryo‐EM result in experimental maps, ultimately fitted by atomic models. Although the physical principles are different, the final results can be viewed, compared, and evaluated in the same way. With cryogenic electron microscopy (cryo‐EM) on track to surpass X‐ray crystallography as the preferred method ...

In this study, a novel esterase from the thermoacidophilic archaeon Thermoplasma acidophilum was biochemically and structurally characterized. Our results demonstrate that Ta0887 is a highly thermostable esterase that preferentially hydrolyzes p‐nitrophenyl hexanoate and possesses an α‐helical cap domain that likely contributes to its substrate ...

Speech Scrambling Employing Lorenz Fractional Order Chaotic System
This paper presents techniques of speech scrambling based-fractional order chaotic system which is used due to many properties; first of all using fractional order as key will increase key space which makes it is very difficult to decrypt by a 3d-party.

A minimal cellulosome‐like system in Cellulosilyticum lentocellum
Cellulose‐degrading bacteria typically use cellulosomes, large multi‐enzyme complexes on a scaffold protein. In Cellulosilyticum lentocellum, we characterise a far smaller arrangement, a single scaffold bound to one cellulase through a single cohesin‐dockerin interaction.

T1 Over Squared Proton Density Ratio to Characterize Multiple Sclerosis Lesions
ABSTRACT Objective Differentiating remyelinated from demyelinated lesions in MS remains challenging without histological confirmation. This study introduces the T1‐to‐PD2 ratio (TPR) imaging approach and evaluates its ability to characterize MS lesions alongside other quantitative MRI (qMRI) metrics. Methods Thirty individuals with MS (mean age: 47.5 ±

ABSTRACT Objective Progression independent of relapse activity is a major determinant of long‐term disability in multiple sclerosis, but its immunopathologic basis remains incompletely understood. We investigated whether relapse‐independent progression in radiologically stable relapsing–remitting multiple sclerosis is associated with distinct ...

ABSTRACT Gliomas have undergone a profound redefinition over the past decade, transitioning from morphology‐based entities to biologically coherent diseases defined by molecular alterations. The 2021 WHO Classification of Tumors of the Central Nervous System and its 2022 update formalize this shift, establishing integrated diagnosis as the global ...

A Computationally Effective Predictor-Corrector Method for Simulating Fractional Order Dynamical Control System [PDF]
Multi-order fractional differential equations are applied to fractional order dynamical controlled systems. The multi-order fractional differential equation is transferred into a system of fractional order differential equations.

The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.
