Realistic Fracture Conductivities of Propped Hydraulic Fractures
SPE Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition, 1993ABSTRACT Preliminary results of an experimental programme to determine the significance of dual phase flow in propped fractures are presented. Gas-water flows are considered. The results demonstrate that, even in cases of minimal water production, effective permeabilities may typically be reduced by a factor of 2, or more.

Conductivity of Fibre Composites with Fractures on the Boundary of Inclusions
Multiscale Modeling & Simulation, 2013A fibre composite consists of two materials bonded at an interface. There are fractures on the interfaces along which the phases are isolated.
