Controlled Synthesis of Tri‐ and Multi‐Doped Graphene

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This review systematically evaluates synthesis routes for tri‐ and multi‐doped graphene, from hydrothermal and pyrolysis methods to flash Joule heating, critically assessing how each governs dopant incorporation, bonding configuration, and resulting electronic properties.

Significant effect of compositional grading on SAGD performance in a fractured carbonate heavy oil reservoir

open access: yesJournal of Petroleum Exploration and Production Technology, 2019
In reservoir simulation, the fluid composition is usually assumed uniform for the whole reservoir, while in many reservoirs, oil and gas composition changes with depth. This phenomenon which is known as compositional grading could be significant in heavy

Spheroid‐On‐A‐Drop: A Modular Droplet Microfluidics Platform

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
The proposed Spheroid‐on‐a‐Drop platform represents a reproducible and tunable platform for the fabrication of biocompatible GelMA‐based microgels, able to support controlled 3D tumor spheroid culture. Its precise control over droplet dynamics and cell distribution paves the way for advanced applications in tissue modeling, drug screening, and ...

Fractured petroleum reservoirs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
Total compressibility in a fractured reservoir is estimated using the pressure response due to gravitational potential variations. Both the moon and the sun gravitational potentials are accounted for using the full expression by inclusion of longer-period components. The semi-diurnal and diurnal pressure data show substantial long-term variations.

High Throughput Aerosol Jet Printing to Operationalize High Aspect Ratio Patterning

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
High‐throughput aerosol jet printing poses distinct limiting mechanisms to the printing process. These include rapidly changing ink chemistries, atomization instabilities, and liquid‐phase spreading. The combination of in‐line heating, process monitoring, and traditional optimization procedures enables rapid printing of high‐aspect‐ratio structures ...

Analysis and Application of Fractured Carbonate Dual-Media Composite Reservoir Model

open access: yesGeofluids, 2022
Fractured carbonate reservoirs are different from conventional reservoirs and generally develop fractures. Conventional reservoir well test performance analysis can only obtain the formation parameters and discharge radius around a single well.

Perivascular Matrix Densification Dysregulates Angiogenesis and Activates Pro‐Inflammatory Endothelial Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Perivascular matrix densification promotes the emergence of aberrant endothelial tip cells (ATECs) that invade and persist within fibrotic microenvironments. Using in vivo lineage tracing and a human microvessel model, this study shows that fibrous matrix cues destabilize VE‐cadherin–mediated junctions to gate TGF‐β signaling, inducing a pro ...

Internal structural characteristics and reservoir heterogeneity of deep strike-slip fault-controlled reservoirs:A case study of Shunbei No.1 Fault Zone in Tarim Basin

open access: yesYouqi dizhi yu caishoulu
The Ordovician ultra-deep strike-slip fault-controlled reservoirs in the Shunbei area of the Tarim Basin feature severe heterogeneity, and internal structural differences of fault zones dominate hydrocarbon accumulation and well productivity ...

Moving boundary analysis of fractured shale gas reservoir

open access: yes工程科学学报, 2019
Shale gas reservoirs are extremely tight, their pores are mainly nano-micron size, and their gas flow resistance is greater than that of conventional gases.
