Multiferroic order parameters – polarization, magnetization, and ferroelastic strain – are positioned as dynamic design variables for batteries. Their mechanistic roles, practical tuning through fabrication and external fields, and ferroic‐resolved characterization routes are unified into a closed‐loop framework, revealing how coupled ferroic responses

Conventional single‐gradient freeze‐casting typically produces unidirectional porous architectures with limited transverse connectivity. The Sequential Hybridization by Infiltration and Freeze‐casting Technique (SHIFT) addresses this constraint by integrating secondary aligned structures within a preformed primary scaffold.

This work establishes a laterally homogeneous organic–inorganic hybrid interphase for soft‐short‐free anode‐free sodium metal batteries under extended cycling at high current density and high plating capacity. In contrast to conventional strategies that evolve into laterally heterogeneous interphases and induce localized Na filament growth, the pDFHA ...

To overcome silicon anode instability, a hierarchical silicon/carbon composite fabricated from industrial waste via a scalable milling process is demonstrated. In‐depth post‐mortem analysis reveals how functional carbons—a CNT network and graphene shell—synergistically suppress degradation. This robust design delivers outstanding stability in practical

Logging optimization processing method for fractured-vuggy reservoirs
: In the traditional logging optimization processing methods, logging response equations are built based on the homogeneous, layered and isotropic formation model, they are not suitable for the heterogeneous and anisotropic fractured-vuggy reservoirs.

From Materials to Systems: Challenges and Solutions for Fast‐Charge/Discharge Na‐Ion Batteries
This review systematically analyzes the key characteristics limiting the fast‐charge/discharge capability of Na‐ion batteries (SIBs) from a multi‐scale perspective encompassing electrode materials, the electrode‐electrolyte interface, and the system. Furthermore, it presents practical solution strategies for the fundamental issues arising at each scale,

Hydraulic fracture propagation in naturally fractured reservoirs: Complex fracture or fracture networks [PDF]
Understanding the behavior of fluid-driven hydraulic fracture in naturally fractured reservoirs is crucial in the development of geothermal energy and unconventional reservoirs. This study presents a fully-coupled numerical model to investigate hydraulic propagation in naturally fractured reservoirs, along with a comprehensive discussion on field ...
