Application of Coiled Tubing Integrated Operation Technology in Gulong Shale Oil Block

open access: yesShiyou jixie
There are several technical challenges in the Gulong shale oil block, such as high-grade steel casing, small inner diameter of wellbore, long horizontal section, large-scale fracturing stimulation, and sand production. This paper presents a coiled tubing

Massive hydraulic fracturing gas stimulation project

open access: yes, 1977
The Rio Blanco Massive Hydraulic Fracturing Project was fielded in 1974 as a joint Industry/ERDA demonstration to test the relative formations that were stimulated by the Rio Blanco Nuclear fracturing experiment.

Biodegradable 3D‐Printable and Coatable Antifouling Composites for Marine Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Marine biofouling damages submerged surfaces and raises greenhouse gas emissions. Biodegradable antifouling biocomposites were developed by hot‐mixing beeswax, Tween 80, and calcium stearate or stearic acid. Adjusting the component ratio enables processing via hot‐pressing, 3D‐printing, or dip‐coating.

Full‐Field Damage Monitoring in Architected Lattices Using In situ Electrical Impedance Tomography

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In situ electrical impedance tomography (EIT) turns 3D‐printed, CNT‐infused architected lattices into full‐field damage‐imaging systems. Tunable Voronoi‐based geometries act as active sensing architectures, enabling conductivity maps to detect early‐stage damage and localise sequential ligament fracture before catastrophic failure.

Unique Role of Microstructure of a Bioimplant Zinc Alloy and Protein Content of Simulated Body Fluid in Corrosion and Fracture

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
BSA addition to physiological solutions enhances resistance of a Zn alloy to stress corrosion cracking (SCC) but reduces its corrosion resistance. Extended surface characterization explains the contrasting influences on corrosion and SCC. Unexpectedly, the alloy suffers transgranular SCC (TGSCC), despite extensive grain boundary precipitation. Thorough

Defect‐Free Transfer Principles for Scalable, Thin Garnet‐Based Hybrid Solid Electrolytes in Solid‐State Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Defect‐free transfer principles enable scalable fabrication of 15 µm‐thin garnet‐based hybrid solid electrolytes. Hansen solubility parameters correlate interfacial compatibility with coating, transfer, and impregnation behavior, guiding rational selection of slurry/substrate, binder/substrate, and binder/polymer electrolyte combinations.
