Fragment-Fragment Correlations
1994A topic of great interest in nuclear physics is the multifragmentation of heavy nuclei at moderate excitation energies. In the experiments from the Purdue group1, 2 first attempts have been made to relate the results in these reactions to the critical exponents of a phase transition, analogous to the liquid gas transition in condensed matter physics ...

Gene Analysis Techniques, 1990
A tactic known as fragment tagging, which has proven to be exceptionally useful in expediting DNA cloning and plasmid construction schemes, is described. The advantage of fragment tagging is that it facilitates the isolation of specific plasmid DNA molecules present in small amounts within mixed pools of DNA.

Fragmenting Work, Fragmented Regulation
2016Abstract This chapter explores the legal construction of the contract of employment through two interrelated phenomena of the British labour market—the fragmentation of work (as opposed to atypical work) and regulation. It claims that the legal construction of the contract of employment, which still adopts one standard prototype of ...

The known ethnic groups from Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego are classified within the cover-all categories of terrestrial and maritime hunter-gatherers. Of course, the differences observed between groups were real, but no major consideration for the existence of mixed cultural configurations existed.

Forest Fragments and Fragmentation
Forest fragmentation is the process of splitting large, continuous areas of forest into increasingly small and separate patches. This process typically reduces both the area of continuous forest and creates fragments that can become isolated and impacted by the surrounding environment. Key drivers of forest fragmentation include agricultural expansion,Pashkevich, Michael, Turner, Edgar

»Fragmente« (»Athenäum-Fragmente«)
