We quantified and cultured circulating tumor cells (CTCs) of 62 patients with various cancer types and generated CTC‐derived tumoroid models from two salivary gland cancer patients. Cellular liquid biopsy‐derived information enabled molecular genetic assessment of systemic disease heterogeneity and functional testing for therapy selection in both ...

Just Because You Can Tweet, It Doesn't Mean You Should. [PDF]
This chapter seeks to examine the relationship between teaching, learning and new technology. In recent years there has been a significant increase in the amount of technological tools available to the teacher.

core
This study simultaneously investigated circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and exosomes from small‐cell lung cancer (SCLC) patients. The elevated expression of JUNB and CXCR4 in CTCs was a poor prognostic factor for SCLC patients, whereas exosomal overexpression of these biomarkers revealed a high discrimination ability of patients from healthy individuals,

Better Quality of Sleep among Adolescents by Considering the Intensity of Social Media Utilization
The basic human needs, such as sleep quality, often take for granted that low sleep quality among adolescents could affect various health problems. One of the factors correlated with sleep quality in adolescents is the use of social media.

Dynamic TDMA slot assignment in ad hoc networks
In this paper we propose a TDMA slot assignment protocol to improve the channel utilization, which controls the excessive increase of unassigned slots by changing the frame length dynamically.

FOXL2 c.402C>G mutation drives granulosa cell tumors. Using CRISPR technology, we selectively corrected this mutation, reducing malignancy and increasing sensitivity to dasatinib and ketoconazole. Transcriptomic changes revealed potential therapeutic targets, demonstrating CRISPR's promise for treating this rare ovarian cancer.

Molecular and functional profiling unravels targetable vulnerabilities in colorectal cancer
We used whole exome and RNA‐sequencing to profile divergent genomic and transcriptomic landscapes of microsatellite stable (MSS) and microsatellite instable (MSI) colorectal cancer. Alterations were classified using a computational score for integrative cancer variant annotation and prioritization.
