Modern technologies of equipping of animal husbandry rooms

open access: yesНауковий вісник Львівського національного університету ветеринарної медицини та біотехнологій імені С.З. Гжицького. Серія: Сільськогосподарські науки, 2020
Modern technologies for the construction of livestock rooms, inexpensive foundations, short construction time, low material capacity of the building, the possibility of using a leasing payment scheme are factors that will minimize construction costs.

Adaptive motion-compensated frame rate up-conversion

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2002
A frame rate up-conversion algorithm using the adaptive motion compensation that reduces the blocking artifacts due to block-based processing is proposed. The proposed method uses the motion analysis to determine the type of motion and applies the motion-compensated interpolation (MCI) adaptively.

Mid-IR Luminosities and UV/Optical Star Formation Rates at z<1.4 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
UV continuum and mid-IR emission constitute two widely used star formation indicators at intermediate and high redshifts. We study 2430 galaxies with z10^11 L_sun, yet with little current star formation. For them a reasonable amount of dust absorption of

Motion-compensated frame rate up-conversion in carotid ultrasound images using optical flow and manifold learning

open access: yesTürk Kardiyoloji Derneği Arşivi, 2019
Objective: Carotid ultrasonography is a reliable and non-invasive method to evaluate atherosclerosis disease and its complications. B-mode cineloops are widely used to assess the severity of atherosclerosis and its progression; ho- wever, tracking rapid ...

Star Formation and Extinction in Redshift z~2 Galaxies: Inferences from Spitzer MIPS Observations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Using very deep Spitzer/MIPS 24 micron observations, we present an analysis of the bolometric luminosities (L[bol]) and UV extinction properties of more than 200 spectroscopically identified, optically selected (UGR) z~2 galaxies in the GOODS-N field ...

A Low-Complex Frame Rate Up-Conversion with Edge-Preserved Filtering

open access: yesElectronics, 2020
The improvement of resolution of digital video requires a continuous increase of computation invested into Frame Rate Up-Conversion (FRUC). In this paper, we combine the advantages of Edge-Preserved Filtering (EPF) and Bidirectional Motion Estimation ...

Asynchronous spiking neurons, the natural key to exploit temporal sparsity [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Inference of Deep Neural Networks for stream signal (Video/Audio) processing in edge devices is still challenging. Unlike the most state of the art inference engines which are efficient for static signals, our brain is optimized for real-time dynamic ...

Converting Static Image Datasets to Spiking Neuromorphic Datasets Using Saccades [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Creating datasets for Neuromorphic Vision is a challenging task. A lack of available recordings from Neuromorphic Vision sensors means that data must typically be recorded specifically for dataset creation rather than collecting and labelling existing ...
